Pittsburgh Raceway Park-Saturday 4/18/09
P.S.-
I know this is the wrong section, and I already posted this in the regional section which seems to get no traffic. So I figured it can't hurt to post it here as well.
How many runs can you expect to get in? Is there a track or just a drag strip?
It's just a drag strip, and depending on how busy it is, you can get anywhere between 3-10+ runs in.
There is a road course north of Pittsburgh in Beaver Co., called BeaveRun.
Raceway park used to be called Keystone dragway, and yes it is a 1/4 mile DRAG ONLY. They have paved their return lanes, used to be gravel and I pikced up a NAIL in a new slick back in the late 80's

It is a FAST track, as compared to Quaker city in nearby Ohio. My stang would run mid 12's all day long at Keystone/Raceway, and would run high 12's at Quaker. Quaker is a slight uphill.
And YES, Beaverun is located in western pa, Wampum to be exact about 1 mile North of the turnpike, aka I 76 on state road 18. GREAT smooth track, which I now live by, aka shorter tow if I break

See yeah

PS: VERY low key rule inforcement at Raceway guys for you guys in the 11's, just make sure to wear pants on hot summer nights. I was thrown out once, with a roll cage, helmet and five point harness, because I was wearing shorts, I know me bad.
