bone stock E55 AMG
some sellers say they have built-in resistors... it may be true but they are not specific to MBs... and even among MBs, some models work and some don't... i put my bulbs to my neighbor's SL550 and didn't work...

City lights:
ALL LED's require some form of resistor to function. LED's by nature will drive themselves to failure without a current limiting resistor. This resistor however, will not prevent the bulb out warning or LED's not lighting up at all. A small resistor can be soldered to the base of the bulb to fix this problem, and it's a pretty nice solution since it's drop-in at that point.
If anyone here wants 194 city light LED's, feel free to PM me and we can set something up. You can buy LED's of your choice and ship them out to me, or I could possibly buy them, modify them and send them out as soon as I get payment.
Trunk LED's are a little more difficult. I did a writeup that was linked earlier in this thread. I'll be up for answering questions about my writeup.

Can someone post a simple DIY on how to solder these resistors? What kind do I need? Are they different per bulb size? I'm having issues with the 194 wedge LED bulbs I just bought.

Haha Max.
Someone help me plz -_-.. I'm getting confused. The more I search the forums the more mixed reviews I get!
So...Lets finally get things straight!
Should I get PIAA (if so which ones) or HMS's Neutrons or any other company to match my STOCK xenons?
