Am I the only one that thinks Nav is unnecessary?

One could envision wireless linkage of the phone (no beg deal), but how about wirless connection into command for an MP3 player ????

E55 KEV - Bluetooth is a Motorola (amongst others) standard for wireless tranmissions.

I'm still interested if anyone can truly confirm whether the Nav can be retrofitted easily.
I have a portable GPS system (nexian) that I use with my non-nav vehicles. The GPS antenna module plugs into my handspring visor. I load the visor with whatever maps I need (highway level for the trip, street level for my destination). It has very limited utility. It is difficult to pick up a GPS signal, even with the optional external antenna. Without the external antenna, I could only pick up a signal when the unit was on the dash, up against the windshield, and unavailable for viewing. It does better in my convertable with the top down. I don't know it the garmen system is much better. It would be nice if someone who has one would post their opinion of it.
