Mobile Wheel Repair recs??
Anyone got any recommendations for a mobile wheel repair company?
Saw this link on google http://www.mobilewheelrepair.com/ but wasn't sure if they're any good?
Damaged (light curb rash, two inches) one rear rim on a curb....I'm guessing cost should be about $100?
Currently working on job site in LA County near city of Pasadena so would like to get it fixed while at work...feedback appreciated

ps. it was the wife

I've seen a lot of the BMW guys recommend Son Tran:

I've been meaning to use him to fix the wheels on the w203, but just haven't had the time.
Let us know what you find.

FYI, Mobile wheel repair is garbage UNLESS you are only doing an airbrush repair to the damaged area. The guys that "refinish" the entire wheel on the car provide a finish that doesn't hold up well, doesn't look factory, is hard to clean, and get overspray on the brake caliper, etc.
Best thing to do is pull the wheel and send it to one of the good refinishers across the country. It will be about $100-150 and good as new.

I've seen cars look as good as new having mobile guys do this...but I could for sure imagine that wouldn't be the case for an entire rim refinish.
Can't get Son Tran to hit me back...he's like a ghost...
They did a fantastic job (~ $120 per wheel).
FYI, Mercedes Benz of Buckhead farms out their wheel cosmetic jobs to this company.

I have used AAS out of Chino. # is 866 369 4335 Talk to Devin. I think the repairman is Skip. He has done several repairs on the S4 and always does an amazing job.
I used Velvet Touch (Miguel Pena) in Costa Mesa. 949 836-6164. He cam out to my home and did the job about a year ago; and it was excellent. It still looks perfect. He was a master at blending and matching it perfectly on a 3 in. curb rash. I think it was about $100.
OOC, can these guys do anything with chrome lips? Maybe sand down the curbed area and use a chrome touch up paint to make it blend in?
I know I can send them off to be re-chromed, but trying to avoid that for just some minor curbage.
Thanks.

Son Tran is officially worthless...doesn't return voicemails and when he does answer the one time he says "will call you back" and doesn't...
Thx for the other tips guys, gonna try those out
