E63 Poser in South florida

E63 Poser in South florida
well i wasnt gonna say anything but this is driving me nuts.
there is a guy who works at Broward general hospital who has a e350 that he has transformed into a e63. over the past yr i have watched him first change the wheels, then add a bodykit, and spoilers, and badges.
it just looks so bad, especially cuz it doesnt have the quad exhaust.
actually it looks bad cuz its such a poser mobile. the car is pewter and is alway at BGMC in ft lauderdale
if your out there hutch, lemme help you put your car back to stock, or atleast takeoff the badges. Its ok a to have amg wheels on a e350, but u cant have the 6.3 badges on the side

I saw a pretty nice knock off once (even almost fooled me) and I did what I have been wanting to do for years: left a note on it that said "Nice fake AMG. Poser."
Came back a couple hours later and the car was gone and my note was on the floor

I had to get my fenders resprayed (don't ask) and am driving around without my side badges. I'm wondering if people think I'm a poser too. Maybe I should remove all my amg badges for the real sleeper look.

Still the worst, IMO, was the C240 on the left and AMG on the right side of the trunk. But realize that those who know what an AMG is are laughing, those who don't know could give a rip what it says. The fool in the driver's seat knows that they are a poser (aka loser).

As I mentioned in my post above I'm about to debadge my new 2009 E63.
Should I or shouldn't I?
Here in the westside of LA, there's always a much better car next to you. And anyway, I didn't buy it to be noticed. I know what's in the engine bay and that's all that really matters.
But I do get some nods from people when they see it and it's nice to talk about it with them, etc.. esp when other car enthusiasts are around.
But without the badges, I'll be anonymous and subtle; like an everyday E Class. Until the time comes when it really matters
