2005 E55 AMG
Widest tire size in the rear?
Time to replace my rear tires & was wondering how wide you guys have gone on the stock 18"s? Also if you have any pics that would be great. I'm running stock ride height & don't want any rubbing.

You can go with a 285/35
If you don't have any power adders no point going this wide, 275/35 will be good.

I have a few power adders, the stockers are easily broken loose.

I'm looking @ advan ad08's in 285/ 30's. Anyone have a pic of 285's in the rear?

That is the stock tire size on a sl. Remember the sl front rim is 8.5 wide as compared to the stock 8 inch for the e55 so the tire may look a bit big.

255/35/18 front 18 x 8.5
283/35/18 rear 18 x 9.5 (SL55 Rims)

Do you have a bigger pic? Any rubbing? So the sl55 wheels are wider but look the same as the e55 amgs' wheels?
