**** LONG TUBES UPDATE ****
Well it's been a week driving the beast with the new LT's and new Renntech tune. As most of you know by the original thread The car is scary fast with mucho TQ.. Well I just found out that I have only had the 91 octane installed so far.. I installed the 100 octane tune and HOLY crap I thought it was great before . Now the tranny shift fast, hard and very agressive . The tune is for the track Lots of thought went into the 100 octane file for the 1/4 mile track. My hats off to Jeff Katz and Ken from Renntech on from what i see in the graphs and driving, by far the best tune I have ever tried. I can't wait to get to the track I'm 100% sure I will smash all my prior records .. THE SOUND IS INSANE. Jangy you gotta come by the Dealership dude

Rick, if the tune you had was the 91 tune, then you should re-dyno with the 100 octane tune, I'm sure you'll be higher than 722 hp We need to get your car to a track soon

Hey Mo, We did the 722 run with the 100 octane file but when I picked up the car the 91 file was installed. With the renntech block you can switch back and forth between the tunes in minutes..
I will look at the dyno sheets and get the before & after headers. I do know that just with the header alone without the tune we gained 40hp. I will get some more #'s. I have a lot of data every step of the way. Even with and without Evo pulley.
I will get some sound clips this week. No drone but when you smash the gas all hell breaks loose..
Hooley, Lets get a Famosa Event going.. I'll put in the first $1000
When will your car be done? your gonna sh*t when you hear the LT's on your car.
FAMOSA RACE DAY... Mo lets do this..
Josh I have my old setup bro. Renntech headers and sound pipe..

I have 3 reserved dates at Famoso: one in November, one in December, and one in January. Weather should be nice and cool by then.

Famoso will happen this year....
I think Mo has one planned fer December and another one the second week of January. Anytime in the next couple months is pointless because it will be too hot...
I look forward to seein your car and everyone else's run. It's gonna be good...

Rick, WTF???? 722RWHP???? How???? My 63 just posted 621 and I thought that was impressive. I assume that 722 was on the bottle, how big of a shot were you running?

....Ah crank, make more sense. I've been all kinds of busy with work stuff, only logged on here about 3 times in the past month. Things are settling down now so hopefully I can start spending some more time with the toys and getting on a few tracks again.

Jim when you gonna strap the car down over at CPT? You've been to just about every dyno in Chicago except the one where all the local MBs have dyno'd

I'm just curious...is this on the 7 speed tranny? I thought the tranny was rated to handle 475. The power gains are amazing by the way. That motor is a beast!

Who made the Longtube headers you're running?

Actually I just had it on a Dyno Pack dyno 2 weeks ago which reads as low or lower than a dyno dynamics at a local tuners dyno shootout and it made 489.4 NA and 621.7 with a 100 shot of gas, as well as torque numbers that are approaching 600 ft lbs...here's a link to vids I posted in the Black Series section. Besides I could care less about dyno numbers, I think my dozen or so 11.0 passes to date speak for themself.

In any event I want to make long tubes for every last one of you AMG guys that want them.
OP We will meet up at some point and do some racing either here in AZ or out in Cali. cruzinquick and I put together an AMG meet at Speedworld last year and there was a good showing. followed by BBQ. I plan on doing it again this year too. It would be great to have you head out and race with us.
