My E63 Lease Deal
Here is the deal I have been getting so far.
$3000 cash down
1299$ a month for 48 months
or
1400$ a month for 36 months
7500 miles a year.
This company swears this is the best deal around. Anyone have anything to add?

Which dealer and what is the sticker on the subject car?
I would be happy to help you calculate a lease, or you can use the leasing/ financing section on this board. If you know the formula, I think you'll be more confident making your best deal. Feel free to PM me.

On the payments, you're close, but could prob get them a bit lower if you push. Please check my math but I think the 36 mo should be closer to $1,250 and the 48 mo 1,170. These are after our friendly local 9% tax.
This assumes: cap cost of 68k, sticker of 96k, june buy rate for 36 mo lease from MBZ @ 46% resid (for 10k miles) and .00395 MF. There is another subforum on mbworld.org that has all the buy rates for different cars / months.
Also worth noting that the lease deals on E63s actually got WORSE in June vs. May. Same residual (43% for 15k miles / 36 mos), but money factor went from .00225 to .00395. Thats essentially going from a 5.4% interest rate to a 9.5% interest rate. BIZARRE.

It is strange that MB USA is not incenting these vehicles more via financing, but all the auto guys got hit pretty hard on credit losses in their captive finance vehicles in the last 6 mos so perhaps just a return to normalcy. Its a shame that a 46 percent residual on an AMG is actually a realistic stat these days.

Buy rates...
Y I haven't heard of a 7.5k mile / year lease either but perhaps you just keep adding 3% to the residual for year 2-3k reduction.
This is the math on your deal, assuming that $96k is the MSRP after gas guzzler is removed from the residual calculation. You can adjust accordingly.
$96,000x.47=45,120(resid. for 36mos@7.5kmi/yr)
$68,000-45,120=22,880(depreciation over term)
$22,880/36mos.=635.55/mo.(base mo. payment)
${45,120+68,000}x.00395=446.82 (int./mo.)
${635.55+446.82}x.0875=94.70 (OC tax/mo.)
$635.55+446.82+94.70=1,177.07 TOTAL MO. PAYMENT
You can do better than $1,400 month. They are snowing you on something. Work them on the money factor. .00395 is not the bottom.
*In this scenario, your drive-offs should be...
$1,177.07(payment)+1095(?)(MBZ lease orig. fee)+900 (Calif. license fee)=$3,172.07
