what grade steel?
what's the firing order?
what's the warranty?
what size are the primaries?
what size is the collector?
how much hp will I gain?
how much tq will I lose?
blah blah blah blah blah

now that those questions are out of the way keep us in the loop on how the finished product turns out.
With this design you wont smack the collector off a speed bump. However I could make them longer for you E55 or 55k guys and girls.

USA 304 stanless steel runners. Options for 321 though out.
Firing order as stamped on the CLS55 valve cover and C55 valve cover is
1-5-4-2-6-3-7-8
Warranty. Yet to be set, but i'm sure it will offer many years of protection.
HP gains: Dyno time will start on Monday on our in house Dyno-Dynamics Dyno.
TQ loss: See above.. Who to say you will loose TQ,
collector: 2.75 inches with options for 3 and 2.5
Primarys: when i get to the shop tomorrow I will check out the size I cant remember off the top of my head.
I think havng them tucked under is a great idea. But, I think it would be cool to show that the design won't compromise too much performance.
Will you also offer ECU modding to shut off the o2 sensor (if needed)?
They look nice!!

These headers will have the best scavenging ability out of any production header currently available for the AMG. In other words they are designed to suck the exhaust gases out of the engine rather than just push them out.
so yes MBH motorsports & Hooleyboy = are the same.

Headers work is always a pleasure
what thickness will be: 16 or 14 GA ?
just don't get the way they should compensate for Firing Order with a 4 into 1 collector

the design I have in mind for that kind of tuning has different mergings ...
Firing order with a header can have a major effect on scavenging. Ideally You wan the headers to fire in a rotational pattern. It help create vacuum in the headers that actually start to suck the exhaust gases out of the cylinder head rather than just have the headers force them out.
When the header starts firing like a Gatling Gun inside the collector, (rotational pattern) scavenging is increased and thats a good thing. If you look at any good designed headers on the market you will see reference to what is called "True firing order".
so, how much then ?

Sure, if your main aim is not to avoid messing of gases from different cylinders , from the above point of view it would work still better with an 8 into 1 collector .. by the way there are 8 guns available
How have you been, bro? dyno has been researching this for a few years and knows his stuff. I remember he was talking about a twisted snake pattern before, but HUGE $$
Yo MBH (ironically similar to MHP), I was kind of assuming you had an E55 there. If not, I am interested but want to go a little more nuts and hope there is more planned for later. It would be sweet to bring some of all the ideas you AZ guys had (exhaust, intake, cooling) into reality. email me at jangy@yahoo.com with some info if you would.

+ i have a crazy idea that i don't think someone thought about.
and i think it will let the air goes to the engine without any increase in temp.
and it is very simple and doesn't cost that much.
but i don't know how to explain. i will try to sketch it for u MBH , if u don't mind making it free for me :P J/k
