even looks like its the cheap emblems from china, i think hes even posing that sport badge too, doesnt sport mean AMG package?

The thread is very good but I will say, Mercedes did for offer a AMG appearance package / Sport Package on its cars and if you bought a car with the appearance "AMG Appearance package / Sport Package" It would have a AMG badge on the rear deck.
I sold Mercedes Benz, Volvo, and Audi when I was in college. I know for a fact it was done on the CLK 430 cars and the W220 early model S-class S500 cars if the buyer opted for the "Sports Package" . It came straight from the factory with the AMG badge.
I hate to disappoint you guys on some of these cars.

I am speaking of 1999-2004ish once the AMG brand name was established it slowly started to stop but they did do it. That ML550 cant be older than 2008 it wont and shouldnt have the badge.
As referenced by the W124 owner, before the AMG merger with Daimler, the AMG badge was available to an ower when the car was prepared by the authorized AMG tuner which could have been the Mercedes factory especially with 98-99 CLK430s as they were considered AMG cars (They had a huge waiting list when they first came out), If there were at least two tuning packages installed. So, if a customer had the suspension tuning and aero body tuning, then it qualified for the badge.

I wish, we were a small market dealer (Bloomington/Normal Illinois). No chance the dealer principle whom I am still good friends with would pay extra to add that badge. The cars were delivered off the carrier with the badges. I actually sold a W220 Black/Tan S500 Sport Package with the AMG badge on the back. I remember it like it was yesterday.
The owner of the dealership actually didnt care for the high optioned Benz cars back then as they are difficult to move in that small of a market, but the CLKs were HOTT! They were going for 10 to15 over sticker for the CLK430 (coupe/convertible) with the AMG package. They 100% had the AMG badge on the car off the car carrier.
First AMG car I ever drove and fell in love was the CLK55 coupe in Silver with Stone interior. I got it sideways, car was tons of fun!

This is always sad! A GL biturbo, FAKE C32, ughhh... How do they get away with this... esp the "c32" how could you sell that car and say its a real AMG when its obvi a c350 with a manny.

I was pulling out of the gym onto a small highway the other night and a dropped shivic and a white "C240 AMG" went at it in front of me. Seemed like they waited for me to pull out too. Sigh. :smash
