11.236 @ 128.1 mph @ Sacramento Raceway!!
Hey guys, even though conditions weren't the greatest my car still managed do well. I had about 4-5 11.3 runs @ 127mph with okay 60's times and the best being the title up top. I'll have time slips to come and a more detailed story of how the day went.
A while ago some thought my dyno numbers were a little high for dyno dynamics but I now think my car has proven it might be some what accurate.
The DA ranged from 2800 to 1200 at 10pm. There was a guy with a some type of DA handheld device at he was measuring a little higher than dragtimes, approximately 300-400. I definitely want to get one of these things but after searching they seem kind of expensive for as little as I'll use it. It would be great for logging your runs.
Here's a video of one of my 11.3 runs. I didn't get my best run on video because I didn't expect it at the time I did it.

If any of you more experienced track junkies have any advice on my launch or burnout please comment.

No LT's yet. I'm using Vadim's HEM's right now with mid-section and race cats. This was done with 18" Kosei's mounted to M/T Street radial II's 265x40x18's. This tire diameter is quite a bit bigger than stock and maybe that's why my trap speeds were a little high and my 60' times suffered. Not sure but I think with LT's and CCW rims 10's are here. JMO.

BTW...that lumpy sound isn't my car if anyone caught that...LOL. My car was the quietest car there, besides the stock E55.
A story is going to be coming on a stock E55 vs. Custom LET tuned car...I was shocked. I'll let Mike tell the story later on. There will be video of this run.

The last time I was at the track I had LET's custom tune with better conditions and it was like night and day. To be fair though, track prep was much better even though a few were still complaining. I'm very happy with my tune and I give huge props to Powerchips Give me a call Travis because I need to schedule in a custom tune after my LT install. I left a couple of messages but you always seem busy.

Very nice runs! Your car is making some serious power!
Do you have an ice reservoir? I think I'm finally going to install mne lol. Withthose traps you should definitely be in the 10's with a good launch and good DA
Since your overall tire diameter is larger than stock, your traps will be slightly higher because in essence you have gone to taller gears. What were your 60's?

Thanks again Chiromikey for helping me get my 60' times down. I couldn't have done it without your guidance. If anyone wants Chiromikey's cell phone number just let me know and I'll post it....j/k.
Thanks Terence! Tens are still a long way away but I think I have a shot in the right conditions. You never know.
You should try to make it out next time.
Haha Sun, I know you'll be there right next to me if not faster. Much respect to both cars....we both have healthy ones!
Yes, I used my rear reservoir and a lot of ice...
. I did do a couple of back to back runs with 11.3's.
At the end of this post you'll see my 60' times on my slip. My best by far was 1.69, personal best but there's more there....I know it. With more practice it will get better. Most my 11.3 runs were at 1.725-1.78, not very good but this was the first time I ever got into the 1.7's. I learned a lot on this outing.
Do you think I should go with the CCW setup or just get my LT's installed and tuned and go from there? I'm sure a small diameter tire would get me better 60' times and maybe lose a little at top, which I have some to give.
Don't know about the fastest and I'm not too concerned with my traps but more my ET's. I would rather have the quickest and not the fastest E55. Thanks Josh.
Time slips and end of post.
Good talking with you Sal. We are going to have a few cars in that 10 second mark. I believe you and mike will be leading that list with a couple of very close times behind you guys.
Here are the slips.
jikjak nice runs and a great time!!!
cant wait to see you in the tens!

alan, do you recall if your car shifted into 4th on the 128mph run? i'm wondering if your tires allow you to stay in 3rd all the way up to those incredilbe mph's. it might be worth keeping them if that's the case as there are other ways we can improve your launch!
these cars are so wierd...can't believe i'm even considering the fact that taller gearing than 2.65 might be beneficial in the 1/4mile!!!

A Prius because I'm green
I saw it too from the left and right left in fact and I remember being proud to see another MB haul *** down the track next to me. Trust me it isn't a bad feeling at all. Sure we had a couple haters out there and most were to afraid to talk about it, but when everyone walked by us or was next to us in line most commented how shocked they were to see a car so quiet yet be so fast. I was proud to represent MB that day and I hope more come out next time to do the same.
