Low mileage, nice color, nice options. The price however is too high. I would aim for the low 30's. Some may say I'm unrealistic, but it is truly a buyer's market right now. Like the others said, tell them that the new E is out, and this car will SIT if you walk on them.

That looks like a nice, low mileage, highly optioned car. And - since it's CPO - a good peace of mind. I would say a couple grand lower and you should be very happy.

Well personally I think that is a good deal on that car you posted.
I just bought an ’06 CPO car with 47K miles on it from the MB dealer and paid $39K, I talked them down from $43K. Even though the market is soft, these cars are not lasting long on the lot, people that can afford them are snatching them up as they remember these cars as $90K+ brand new.
You might get lucky and talk them down to $37K or $36K, but based on the options on that car, I think it’s a very a good deal, it even has Parktronic and Sirius!! Something my car did not even have (so so wish it had Sirius..crying!).
Just after I bought my car I spoke to the MB dealer in San Jose and they have an ’06 car with 18K miles on it (did not have Parktronic OR Sirius) but had all other options listed with the car you posted and they wanted $45K (pretty firm), they told me they did not have much wiggle room on price as they were confident it would be scooped up soon, due to it having:
1) Low low mileage
2) Well optioned
3) It being an ’06 and CPO
4) Market is low for certain models but has been steady for the E55 AMG
I say buy that car, it’s a good deal.

A good car will get fair value.
Edit - For full disclosure, I am passively selling my car. For comparison, I have an 05 with 17.4k miles. My car has fewer options, a MBUSA warranty that runs just as long as the CPO on this car (through 8/11 and 75k miles), and a bulit in radar detector/laser diffuser. And she is a proven rocket. I am asking $34k to those that have inquired. If I NEEDED to sell it, I would lower the price slightly, but if someone wants to buy a gem of an E55, as opposed to just an E55, then my price is fair. That's why I think the price on this particular car is fair. It is a year younger, has more options and has only slightly more miles.

2005 E55 AMG
I just picked up my 05 with 58k on it for 28K.
It also has the panarama roof.
It did require front and rear pad replacement and a rear wheel bearing.
I do the work myself so it was just parts.
The recommendations here sound reasonable

A local dealer is trying to get 39k for a 50k Black 05! I paid 35k for my 06 same color in immac condition no MB warranty though. I bought an extended. See if they can extend the warranty a little longer for the price. If they could knock a couple of grand off the price its a good deal. They will tell you a bunch of people of course are looking at it to make the sale..

I bought mine almost a year ago, for $30k, it had slightly more miles than the subject one in the post.
An offer in the low 30s is very doable.
The value on these cars, just like the others, drop drastically after 2 years.
