Next you need the Switzer SP800 kit (http://www.nagtroc.org/forums/index....opic=32176&hl=) or the SSP turbo upgrade, and the full PPG gear replacement. (your warranty is already bye bye.)
Do that, and you will be hunting Veyrons.
Be sure to run 93 octane with that Stage 2. Is that hard to get in CA?

LOLOLOL, this is SO LOUD and so much faster, and this is only the tip of the tuning iceberg.
Good for you, doing what the car was meant to have done to it- not so expensive mods that make it go super fast!! Isnt the car a completely different animal? And I say this in the context of knowing how much a modded E55 (Stage III) and CL65 (ECU) change from stock.Originally Posted by Fantasm

Where did you go?
Yes, the car is completely different now. I was getting remorse after dropping the nearly $8K into the upgrades while I was waiting all afternoon for the installs but at 8:30PM'ish when it was finally all done and I drove it... all my remorse left.
This was a spur of the moment decision, I woke up yesterday after just coming home from a business conference in D.C. and wanted something to do. I almost got the HKS GT570 kit but it was almost $15K after parts, install, tuning, and tax... and it would've taken 2 days to install, which was the killer for me, I wanted something yesterday. LOL.
I stopped by Bulletproof (GT-RR.com) offices in downtown LA for the part orders and they were installed at SP Engineering in City of Industry.

SP did all my mods too (HKS GT570) and it took a week to install but well worth it. For GT-R mods and install they are the best local guys I could find.Originally Posted by Fantasm

Not to take anything away from the HKSGT570, but for 3k more you get 750hp.
to be fair, here is a GT570 against a CGT, Zr1< and a tuned 997t

Vic: Didn't know you put the 570 kit in your car. Did you put that in your thread at NAGTROC? You officially have the nicest white GT-R at NAGTROC, even more so than Sharif. (Not a fan of the bronze JDM look, alloy FTW) -Justice

As for the 3k more for the Switzer 750 hp, that just is not happening. HKS retails at 5700 but thats not what we all pay (usually less) plus labor. So maybe if one paid full price (5700 plus 30 hrs of labor) the cost would be about 9k.
Here is SPI's price for a 700hp kit, not even 750 and this does NOT include labor; a lot more than 3k. Id guess labor would be around 4k on this kit so its more like 11k over the GT-570 and thats for the 700 kit. Trust me, if it was 3k more, my car would be on trailer to Ohio.

I actually didn't know what the HKS570 cost, I was just going by Fantasm, saying it would cost him 15k, which led me to the 3k comment. (18k SP800).
Damn Vic.

Looks like you have some p40s on it already!

I think Fantasm was including exhaust (axle back) and the COBB A/P too which is not included in either the SPI or GT570 kits... I went with the Titek Ti exhaust which is a 4k retail add, not cheap but definitely worth the money in weight savings and sound...

All white, except for that Red Turbo. I love Red cars. It's either a Red or Black GT-R for me.
You should be seeing a thread from me at NAGTROC very soon. I plan on doing all my stuff at Forged, since they are a Switzer installer. Just got to decide whether I want 21" HREs or 20" Volk G2s. Alloy LMs are already taken...

Salt Lake City looks like it has some great deals on houses right now though.
I need some therapy to cure my car obsession, lol. I've wasted literally 100K+ on cars due to depreciation losses, etc.
Time to buck up and just get a Kia. LOL
