HE+cm30+slipcoolingloop vs evo sport full cooling package
Trying to c what would be better not only 4 out right cooling but the price as well.
doing your own set up with cm30 pump code 3 HE and the split cooling loop
or just buying the evo sport cooling package
I am gussing the evosport would cool alot better but it is not cheap

EVO = $2500.00 W/spacers
EVO = $2500.00 W/spacers

Code3 Heat exchanger and CM30 pump. Evosport cooler is tiny.
Nothing against Evosport - I think their products are top notch and I have their pullies and headers as well as phenolic spacers. I just think the heat exchanger is a bit small.
Code 3 unit is very good quality and is sold at a fair price too.

been to the website. read about the kit. no reason to keep the crappy stock unit there and add another little crappy unit to it. replace it with a good core and call it a day.

I designed original kit evosport kit back in 2003.
At that time 55s were pretty much all leases and clients did not want to remove original heat exchanger.
In addition, total capacity of dual system is still bigger than the biggest replacement unit.

i was contemplating the same thing for a while and i am choosing to replace the OEM HE with a larger unit, i will then split the cooling circuit and change my cooling pump to the CM30.
btw anyone know a good place where i can buy a CM30?

The evosport cooling package. Says that it does not only keep the cooling in check but adds hp
But most ppl say the cm30+HE only keeps the temp's in check but dont really give a hp gain

My car is an 03 e55 so i guess i dont have an oil cooler ?
If not if i get an oil cooler will that keep the engine cool and if so will that help keep the intake temps down or dont bother with an oil cooler

I'm not entirely sold my split loop cooling system is better. My temps have been pretty high...then again, it has been freakin' 115 or so out here in Phoenix...

The 03 have an oil cooler and fan behind the passenger front wheel well.
I used to have the biggest core from Code3 and then he downsized a bit when he started using the Spearco cores. which improved efficiency slightly.

What is the capacity Vadim? My 7" core on my '03 is 85oz...is the Evo additional core 58oz to add to the 27oz (if memory serves me) original HE?

OEM is about 28oz +/-
The evo HE is smaller than the OEM.
Save the money.. and just buy a nice HE and pump. Don't worry about split cooling unless you plan to do a full reservoir and additional pump in your trunk.
I would look into a modified thermo stat and call it a day.
The best HE set up will not cure the tiny IC core underneath the supercharger. The HE upgrade will help, but only to a certain point.
