I have a charcoal interior?
I always thought the leather wasn't exactly black, but I figured that's just what they call black on the E class as I haven't spent too much time in other E classes, but I was looking at the window sticker today and it says I have charcoal interior.
Do a lot of people have this or is it rare?

From what I understand, pre face-lift W211's have Charcoal as the "Black" interior, and face-lifts have pure Black.
Interesting to me too, I always thought mine was a soft black, I like it, classy and works well with the brown wood I have.

I also have Black aka Exclusive Nappa Leather/Black Nappa (X11) on my SL65. It was a pricey $3800 option, which is why you rarely see it. On my SL you actually also get the headliner in black alcantara instead of the grey.

I think my E500 was black black but the E55 is a lighter black (might be the chacoal) The E500 was Obesian Black outside but the leather was very dark black....... maybe other E class is different....
