Random parktronic beeping and A/C fan cycling
The last few days, when i first start driving the car, the parktronic will randomly beep. Its usually just one beep maybe 4 or 5 times in the first 5 minutes of driving. I've only seen the red lights flash once (and that was when it beeped 3-4 times).. its really crazy.. then today on my way to my hotel.. the A/C fan started to cycle from full blast down to a low speed.. but then it would kick right back up again. No alerts, no msgs. This is on a 2005 E55. Has anyone seen anything like this?

Inspect the Parktronic sensors for interference, cleanliness, and proper orientation. If all looks fine PM your VIN, I will check to see if your vehicle is equipped with current less sensitive sensors.

Pm sent.. cleaned the sensors after it started acting up the other day..

***UPDATE*** I got a malfunction today.. it says "Display Malfunction. Visit Service Center" or something along those lines.. A/C still toggles off and on, Parktronic beeps randomly.. and i even got the E-Brake light flickering on/off.. does it for a few minutes and then quits.. wtf?

Ok.. its definitely getting worse.. i got an SRS message for 4-5 seconds then it disappeared.. the voltage is normal (12.3v off, 13.9v on)..

Are any of your sensors pushed in? My front ones started doing that, and I noticed one of the sensors is pushed in a little / not flush with the bumper. Dealer wants $120 for a new sensor. I just ignore it, as it doesn't happen that frequently. Is there an easy way to realign it?

hmm doesnt look like any of them are pushed in.. Its so weird though because this is ONLY happening when its over 100 degrees outside.. in the mornings it never happens.. only in the afternoons on my way home..

bump... still happening intermittently.. id take it to the dealer but i know how that goes.. it doesnt act up in front of them and then they charge you $100 for "diagnostics"..

Now it happens at night as well.. So it's not seeming as much heat.. Still completely intermittent. Also.. When it happened at night.. The dome light flickers.. Any ideas here?

Update for future reference, this problem has been cured after the replacement of the COMAND unit last year.
