Links and lowering onto 19's - how low should I go?

Am expecting my 19's any day now which through a democratic process in an earlier thread won out by 8 votes to 6 over monarchs.

Already have links so Im going to put them in and have the wheels aligned when they go on at the same time.

Qn : for those that have 19's and links, can you indicate how much you lowered with the links. I use the '55 as a DD and have the front CF lip so Im not looking at anything too extreme (ie scraping over every speedbump/driveway entrance) but would like to sit her down nicely.

Tnx in advance

How can we say how low? I go pretty low when my RennTech ELM is on, but then I can quickly hit the raise button or turn off the unit when I need to. Also, it is at 50% lowered over stock.

Well I know at least a couple of punters on here that have links with 19's that spent a while experimenting with the drop and I thought I would try what they finally come up with....

It will be hard to get it nailed on the first try. Maybe members here can tell what percentage they are using so you can get a rough guess? When I played with links, it was a constant adjustment game.

Ya if you are doing it yourself it will take a while for the rear, the fronts are extremely easy to adjust I have changed mine about 10 or 12 times the backs I havent touched once because it sucks to get to it.

Yeah post some pics when your done.. I been debating on 19"s or 20"s.. I think 20"s might not be good for a everyday car..

Lengthen the front 6mm from stock and shorten the rear 5mm. The rear is more sensitive and doesn't take much to drop. Its really not that bad to adjust after. Just a little tight. Make sure the sensor is point toward the roof of the vehicle as well.

Yeah when she's in for a service shortly I'll get them to drop the rear a bit (pain in the **** to get to) and I can do the front myself.
