The dyno discussion!!!!

What your seeing in that Dyno chart is not 660wtq its 640wtq. you can see torque converter lock up and that made it spike to 660wtq shown on the chart. You really have to round off that sharp point in the dyno charts torque number at peak.
I must have missed the throttle body, because it has a Renntech 82mm on it.

Now I have added the UD Pulley back on so thats another 15-18hp Well o.k I have one more addition but I won't say what it is yet, let me see the gains first then I'll post , good or bad..

The pistons in the AMG have to be some of the best stock pistons I've ever seen. I dont know to many motors that can push out over 700hp and 800tq on a stock setup. its insane. Not to mention in a daily driver.
Even My C55 engine with 11.1CR is pushing 600hp and over 700tq. Why there inst a low boost blower for the 63 guys baffles me. It can handle 5psi all day long if not a bit more. It all comes down to dead nuts tuning.

I think its attributed to the emergence of more parts. Also tuners getting a better understanding of the M113 motor. Long tube header and the 82mm TB really opened some doors to big power. Not to mention the tuning carictoristics of Race fuel and knowing the limits.

Great points! Parts definitely helped quite a bit, I saw the difference of the LT Headers, it's quite some gain across the powerband. You nailed it on the last line, I still ponder why the 63 guys don't have a blower option already, I remember VRP made a thread about doing a blower for the 63 but it seemed to fall through. I'm suprised Kleemann and Renntech didn't step in yet given that they tune the 6.2. It's all about the tune as you said, even if the parts can be fabbed and fitted, having the lack of reliable, safe, consistent performance pretty much defeats the purpose to being with. The Tune is just as important as the physical parts under the hood, without it they can either be held back and not yield maximum gains or they can not be safe to run period. Hopefully things change the 63 crowd, they deserve boost as I've always thought a SC 6.2 should be a monster even at a slim 5psi or so.

Yeah.... I think that's what happened too. They probably figured that it wasn't worth the effort to go forward with the project if the product ends up being way too expensive and the potential sales only be a couple

Marcus I just reviewed your timeslip.
Your DA was very very very very very close to ours from 08/07/09 in Sacramento.
Your car put down 487 hp and was trapping 7-10 mph less than Alan's.
Surely a man of your experience understands a car trapping 7- 10 mph faster in similar conditions is putting down more RWHP. This has got to be at least 50 more hp to equal the gap. If you raced him heads up you would be trounced. His car is making more hp than yours and it simply has to be ALOT MORE to create this trap speed gap.
Alan's car is absolutely making every bit of 540 hp if yours is making 487.

The Supercharger project was started on my car and ended on my car. It was a long long battle and I'm still paying for it If ANY TUNER "KNOWS" THEY CAN DO IT LET ME KNOW.. For know I will stick to my 722hp and 673 tq... I'll let you guys do the math.. Should put me ahead of the pack Hi ALLAN hahahahaha lol

^ Too bad it would cost an arm and a leg. Not worth the $$$ if you ask me
How much boost are you running on your setup? I'm almost at the point where I wanna go to a smaller sc pulley. Maybe run meth to make sure there is no detonation.
All I keep hearing is dyno numbers from you converted to crank hp Lets see some track numbers!!! Seems to be a common theme with 63 guys :eeps: Only way you are keeping up with Alan is nitrous or F/I

Hey DUDE, the tread reads " DYNO DISCUSSION "
Just bustin your ball MR HOOLEY
But true, according to the debate here at hand my 573.8 rwhp should do the job, right? it'S a debate reading all the post here
DO THE MATH
That's why it's track #'s OR dyno #'s - never should be in the same sentance.
Josh and Mickey do the Math .. Would love to see and hear your input...
LET THE GAMES BEGIN
Just bustin your ball MR HOOLEY

Unless you pulled the engine and put it on an engine dyno it is converted, whether you did or not.

So, as far as " DYNO " #'s go , are these good #'s
Like I said I'm Just a Salesman and don't really know cars ..
Be back after work... This should be enough FUEL for the day

As far as peak numbers they are high numbers. How much nitrous did you have to spray to get that? Didn't jrcart make more power than you on spray in a lighter car? Maybe you should up that shot a bit more
