I like it.

Yes you can change albums.

Yes, you can fast forward or rewind.

I have one for sale if you are interested. Just PM me.

Using the steering wheel buttons:

use the arrow buttons to move through the menu choices

use the phone answer/hang up buttons to select or backup

a quarter mile at a time
it goes through the iPod menus just like you're using your iPod. You can access your playlists, artists, genres, blah blah.

I was playing around w/ the steering wheel buttons but only the up/down arrows were responding, skipping to the next song or going to previous song. No other buttons seem to work

update: bad connection. Everything seems to be working w/ the use of arrows and phone buttons as t-bone had mentioned

is it possible to make the song title to display on the navi screen?

I like the iPod integration and it's apparently better integrated in the 2010 GL450 that I'm taking possession of next week with the updated COMAND interface.

The only improvement I'm looking for is displaying the song title (and maybe even artist?) on the main navi screen per the OP's comment above.

So it's not yet possible?

the ipod integration in the w211 doent show the id3 tags on the comand display, from my research... you also cannot change the album/artist/track etc etc through the comand, it must be done via the steering wheel controls or the instrument cluster display... the audio just feeds into comands aux input... this kept me from purchasing it...
