First and only SL on M43's
Hey guys I know this isnt the SL section but this is where i usually post. Its a 2005 SL600 ( My dads) with 20" HRE M43's the first and only Sl with these wheels on it that i know of. They are 20x9 and 20x10.5 , they came in chrome but they were color matched to the car. special thanks to Matthew at GMP-Performance for the great deal on them. Sorry for the bad photographer and bad photos but it is what it is.

Hmmm not feelin'em... Q: What badge is on the right hand side of trunk? Stock the SL600 badge is on the inside left of trunk area? w/nothing on right

The car came with two pretty goofy things 1) 6 exhaust tips 2) the left side of the trunk says Brabus and the right side says Sl600 ,both in chrome

yep it has it all, the Brabus mufflers , T12, ECU/TCU, front lip/ rear diffusor. Full interior done by them and use to have 19" Brabus wheels. How can I check if it has the ELM from brabus? the front seems pretty low but the back still seems high.

ya its cool to share you opion, to each there own. Wish I could have a photo shoot because these wheels are so much nicer in real life , the pics make them not look to good. I didn t even pick them out but so far to date they are my favorite wheel on a SL

I'm sure yer right and the pics don't do the wheels and the car justice. Like you said, if you had a proper photo shoot later, I'm sure it would make it look as good as it does!

BRABUS rims would've been nicer and match better with rest of the BRABUS mods IMO...

well IMO Brabus quality is EXTREMELY BAD. The Carbon Brabus provides is Sh*ty ,the front lip is faded to white , the steering wheel is cracked and the center console is starting to peel up. A front wheel bent from a small pothole. I still really like Brabus products but they just dont seem up to spec for the price people pay for them.

Not bad, but I think the SL really needs a wheel with a lip to compliment the body lines.

Ya I like lips and not lips but all of the wheels he has bought had lips so he wanted a new look. BTW: just noticed the reflection on pic number 3 is pretty neat

Agreed.

The M43 is visually very heavy. Maybe nice on an S, but don't like it as much on an SL. The M49 is closer aesthetically to the P43, IMHO. Wheels are very personal, as mentioned by others.
