REAR - Toe Links / Camber arms
Ive got an update on the suspension project. I had a chance to swing by HMS on Saturday to pickup the Toe Links and they are definitely as beefy and nice as the pictures. They will be installed tomorrow and the camber arms will be ready this week.
On a side note, I put the car up on jacks last week and all four tires are worn to the threads on the insides with plenty of tread left on the oputside. Friggin shame!!! I wish I had remembered to rotate mount them out.....

so what i started doing now is just buying tires that are good (PS2s, RE050 etc) but have 60% tread remaining and no camber wear. it's just a waste to spend 700 on a pair of new rear tires that will get chewed up on the inside when they are not even 2/3 worn everywhere else. vent/

Test fit on the toe links went well. Very straight froward and no clearance issues. I am hoping to get the camber arms this week and off to the alignment shop.
I have a question for anyone who has ever doen this type of stuff. The alignment shop I am using is the "best" in SD and have worked on many race and custom cars. Can I assume that they will kn0ow how to adjust these arms to set the alignment? Will they know how to work them, etc? Will they be willing to work on them? I will check with the shop tomorrow, but it just hit me today. I know it will take lots of time and the bill will be up there (likely $500ish) so i want to get it right.
Ball park pricing that I have heard is $750 for toe links and $500 for camber arms. These are the Group Buy prices and not anything down the road. The man will be doing the front A arms next. For now, he is looking at a single unit, which means huge costs. We'll see what he comes up with.

Just got word that the camber arms are ready. The pictures look GORGEOUS!! First ever set of camber arms for the W211. He is driving them down to SD tomorrow.
I will try to snap some picks of the range of motion I get, especially when lowered. Finally to be able to adjust toe and camber!!

Wish I could take the credit for the work. I am just the push behind the set. The work is Jay's. I am definitely thrilled at the final product and can't wait to see the front setup.

Jay drove down the camber arms today. They are even beefier than the pics below and have a number of unique parts. Since he has initiated patent proceedings, I am free to share on the design and results if anyone has questions.

Haha!! What up bro? I can hook you up. Toe links are $750 or you can get toe links and camber arms for $1200. first ten sets go at this price and then the brand will be distributed through sponsors. I am still looking for a sponsor to host our GB. I wanted to wait until now that I have both in hand and sure that we are good to go before forcing too much to happen.
