As you know Bro, results may very, I've been fortunate that my M3 has done very well against many cars, lost plenty as well, haven't lost to another NA modded M3 yet. It's very possible I could run another stock E55, like yours, and not do as well.

That's a strong car bro, did you guys do any runs from a dig? what times have you run in a 1/4 (if you have done so) has that E55 ever visited the track? and if so what time of times and et did it run?

This is exactly what happened to me when I had a failing IC pump. It did make a huge difference because the car is not running at full potential.

I raced a member here with a C63 and a modded 335i with my failing IC pump and again when I replaced it and the outcome was much different in favor of my E55. I would tell him to definetly get it replaced if you know the guy. It's a $150 fix.

Anyway love the videos as usual and your car is hitting people by surprise man .

Thanks man, we did not do any runs from a dig. I have not hit the track yet, but managed a 10.8, 60-130, and a 118MPH trap on the Vbox at 500' above sea level, around 65 degrees, in decent conditions and a great launch I think I can hit high 11's. Not sure on the E55 at the track, I will ask, we all plan on going soon though.

Don't the E55's do somewhere around high 10's stock from 60-130? Either way very strong runs against the V8 SC motors!!!! Are you from the LA area or OC?

Not sure the only time I've read is 12.1 on rennlist.com, but he said it was a tad hot out, just like trap speeds times will vary with conditions. You guys know much more about the E55 than me, so it's very possible his car may have not been up to par, I was surprised with the results as well.

LA area.

Nice M, but 45k in mods in a E55 would result in one heck of a machine also.

In 60-130MPH comparo's I did a tad better than another E92 M3 with the same stroker motor and supporting mods, 10.87 vs. 11.02, but I suspect in head to head runs he would edge me out up top, and if he was DCT it would be a better pull from what I've seen.

Don't know about that, when my pump would go out in my SL55 i was left with the thrust of an SL500 (the blower wouldn't engage). If that was the case here Drew would have pulled football fields...

Drew's car is quick, the E55's 5-speed auto can't be compared to the 7-speed DCT. It makes a bigger difference than most people think.

If anything, the E55 was at least running fine for the first run...right?

So with the stroker motor is not that much faster then yours? Where did they get their HP numbers from?

Based on Vbox times, if you put a lot of stock in that, I would guess the 6MT stroker is close with me, but a DCT stroker should pull away nicely on me, but certainly not on a well modded E55, IMHO. It would need FI to keep up.

The 6MT made 424 whp on a dynopak, and the DCT the one in the link made 432whp on a DJ.

What's the difference between a standard equipped M3 and a DCT?

Yea but then you see a video like this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R_zV0...eature=related and everything we know about gearing goes out the window. Kidding aside, E55s are all over the board in terms of performance. You could be racing 12-flat or high-12 second stock E55 at anytime. Gotta give the M car alot of credit especially with the way it stayed fairly close to the CTS-V. That's one strong M3.

I didn't do any comparo runs stock vs. stock with a 6MT, but here's a few against 6MT's that have more mods and made more power than me.

This one made 398whp on a DD's

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p0ei80v6KQk

This one has the all the bolt on's along with 4.10 gears
