Modded DCT M3 vs. Stock E55 and Stock CTS-V- Vids

There is always someone (thing) faster and on any given day closely matched cars will swap victories. Hell, if Im in my 997TT going 80 mph and an E550 goes by at 100mph how long would it take to catch it if I decided to go after it? Not fast enough for the E550 owner to go home and claim they beat me

Like Vic said, there will always be someone faster than you.

don't get me wrong, i love m cars and almost chose one over my e...but the old "in the twisties" and new "smg gearing" arguments aren't the equalizer to everything.
and when these new cts-v's start getting the proper packages together, they will put the hurt on all of us!
That video is still confusing to me but I digress...talk is cheap, lets get a highly modded E55 in on our runs so we can put this argument to rest. We have plenty of M guys who want to run, where is team AMG

I believe Rab Dog is one of the strongest n/a non-stroked M's yet on DRs couldn't break into 11's. Maybe he has recently though. It's a powerhouse and pretty awesome especially compared to all the high-12 to 13 second M's on the tube or dragtimes. But, some unsuspecting, nonfreakish M car drivers see these videos and believe they can hang from a dig like the factory freaks do only to be dissappointed.
I realize drag strips are not a 120-180mph race (like the one captured in SleeperX's video) but if you're behind a couple seconds by 130mph catching up becomes very difficult for most cars. Needless to say, modded 55's do not fall flat on their face after 130 unless they do not have cooling to support their mods. Cars like Bassn's just keep pulling away (in Tahiti I got to see his taillights from as much as 4.5 car lengths behind at speeds well over 130). Mike's stage 1.5ish also pulls as hard or harder than my own Stage 3 and we're not even in the elite ranks in our class but we are mid-11 second W211s. I guess what I'm trying to say is people just have to look at the race ahead of them and may the faster car win
.
Twas me you were pulling away from in that video
No excuses; Your car was definitely faster that day and thats all that really matter. And besides it was all friendly
I would like to see if that new Meziere pump I ordered would make any difference so rematch soon. Great meeting you and I appreciate the runs, you made no excuses and gave nothing but props. Let's give it another go when you get the Meziere pump!
Get your E55 out to Famoso next month and back up your 1k call out about your stock E55 vs. my DCT M3.
Let's see if you have the ***** to honor it, *****.

Alan

I know if we run. I can only make 1 all out pass until the car cools back down.
I have the IC pump which helps a lot. But, sadly you lose a substantial amount of power doing back to back runs on these cars without the proper cooling mods.Headers (LT's for us
)TB (the bigger one for us
)+
Cooling
Stage 3 + Cooling...
TADA!~!

Also who wrote the book on the stage process? Isnt ECU/pulley 1, headers 2, throttle body 3, cooling 4 (or cooling 3, TB 4), Cams 5?? Im just asking since this whole stage thing ever has been truly broken down.
