This is why we have these real world vids- AMG beats M and M beats AMG.
There is always someone (thing) faster and on any given day closely matched cars will swap victories. Hell, if Im in my 997TT going 80 mph and an E550 goes by at 100mph how long would it take to catch it if I decided to go after it? Not fast enough for the E550 owner to go home and claim they beat me

Alex's car is fast. As seen in the video's, it is an absolute factory freak. Unless he is modded and he doesn't know about it

you did try to put words in my mouth and i'm sorry, but no revision is needed regarding my statement pertaining to properly modded amg's. the video speaks for itself. frank's car was properly modded (as was the m5 he was racing), alan's (bassn) car is properly modded, and there are others that force non n2o'd or stroked m cars to give up because they're not going to catch them at relevant speeds.
don't get me wrong, i love m cars and almost chose one over my e...but the old "in the twisties" and new "smg gearing" arguments aren't the equalizer to everything.
and when these new cts-v's start getting the proper packages together, they will put the hurt on all of us!

Too bad I was the other E55 that was suppose to make it out there with Bassn_07. I had the car all ready to go but Bassn_07 had an issue and we were up all night trying to figure it out. We just might have to take a drive down one weekend for some fun! The only M5 I have seen that ran was at Sac raceway but he was stock so it wasn't even fair. I can't get any around here to meet up, not sure why but even two Porsches backed out. I think Bassn_07 keeps scaring them away!

I believe Rab Dog is one of the strongest n/a non-stroked M's yet on DRs couldn't break into 11's. Maybe he has recently though. It's a powerhouse and pretty awesome especially compared to all the high-12 to 13 second M's on the tube or dragtimes. But, some unsuspecting, nonfreakish M car drivers see these videos and believe they can hang from a dig like the factory freaks do only to be dissappointed.
I realize drag strips are not a 120-180mph race (like the one captured in SleeperX's video) but if you're behind a couple seconds by 130mph catching up becomes very difficult for most cars. Needless to say, modded 55's do not fall flat on their face after 130 unless they do not have cooling to support their mods. Cars like Bassn's just keep pulling away (in Tahiti I got to see his taillights from as much as 4.5 car lengths behind at speeds well over 130). Mike's stage 1.5ish also pulls as hard or harder than my own Stage 3 and we're not even in the elite ranks in our class but we are mid-11 second W211s. I guess what I'm trying to say is people just have to look at the race ahead of them and may the faster car win

Nice runs Drew! Your car is running strong and it's always a pleasure meeting up with you. Sorry, I couldn't make it. Was out all night and would have never showed up on time. Looks like fun though. 
I know if we run. I can only make 1 all out pass until the car cools back down.
I have the IC pump which helps a lot. But, sadly you lose a substantial amount of power doing back to back runs on these cars without the proper cooling mods.

I think we know a few people in common. I know one of the Stage 3 S4's. Kevin with the silver B5 with the advan wheels. I met him on the freeway once and he lives right up the street from me! The other one is Ari with the yellow B5. His car put a spanking on me many years ago. I was stock and I met him through a couple mutual friends. He was packin some major power even back then...Went to LACR to play a couple times. Great times...Look forward to meetin ya! Is it? Now a days, it seems like that's the norm...
