Me personally, I've never ran a M5 or M6 in the 1/4 mile or in Mexico. I've been trying to find one here in Norcal but it seems close to impossible. The only reference I have is my buddies 996 TT with a tune and straight pipes, he said he beat a modded M6 by a few lengths. When I raced the 996TT from 60-170 I had him by more then a few car lengths...I would guess. He's putting down somewhere in the range of 450 rwhp to the ground. It's funny, we both thought I would get him up to 120 or so with him taking over at higher speeds. This wasn't the case, my car kept on pulling at the higher speeds.

Bassn: I don't see you losing to an M5/M6 in the 1/4 or in Mexico, not with the numbers you are running. Anything short of the highest modded M (stroked or fully modded w/NOS) in Mexico and I think you will easily win. Stock for stock M5/M6 will beat an E55 in Mexico and sometimes at the track depending on conditions, but with your mods I just don't see it happening. Throw in some twisties and its a whole different story...
stock m5/m6 will not beat a stock e55 on a 1/4 mile
my stock time was a 12.18@115.xx with a 1.9x 60', and there a quiet handful of guys here who are in 11s stock. i love M6s but a W just won't happen on the 1/4 mile for them ...
every stock M5 i saw at the track here, did not run anything close to my stock time. i would love to do a drag race with a modded M5 or M6, only one i know is m6 vert and he won't run me.
