I call it a variety of things. Usually it's just "a sedan", or "a 4-door with a sunroof", or "a silver car". Sometime I'll call it an E55, but I never say it's a Mercedes. I honestly wish it had a Kia badge so I wouldn't have to explain to schmucks what it really is and how I'm not really a loaded crack dealer.

Yep, people are dumb. Plus I work in the public sector, so I must be a rich guy if I've got an MB, regardless of what I paid for it($25k). I should go out and buy a $50K truck, then no one would bat an eye.

I'm a new Mercedes owner, and I've been struggling to decide on the name when it comes up to others. I findin myself usually just saying,i'm in the car or truck, but when pressed I'll say CL or Hummer, if pressed more i'll say the full on name "Mercedes-Benz CL55 AMG or Hummer H2, the bigger one" I'm single, so it kind of comes up,a nd i want to make sure it doesn't sound like i am coming across as snide or better than. I just have two things i like more than kids right now. Plus i don't want her thinking i have money, cause even if i do, doesn't mean she is getting any, but i will use them as props to help out, if you can be that superficial over my ride, so can I.
