I had very similar fog lights in my e55, they create a really nice cutoff line. But, I think a HID kit is a good idea to get the full use out of the projector

EDIT:

A couple pics

+1.

This was going to be one of my next projects was to fit projectors into the stock fog housings. I would be all over this if I knew what the beam pattern and cutoff looked like!

i would assume that it is for a pair, as 140 per side would be a bit hefty... waiting for eurodyne to check in!

Sorry for the late reply guys. We have been short handed these 2 weeks.
Give me a day to try to plug it into my coworker's E39 fogs w/ 9006 plug and I will shoot some pictures of the pattern and cutoff.

aleksandar1099- your HID looks sick!

Hey MJ,

I think that there would be an improvement with the projector fogs over stock housing with an HID kit, but I did the HID's and the projectors at the same time so it was a world of difference over stock.... and I paid double for it on ebay

I assume this will be a direct swap, i.e. plug and play?

We will have some better pictures...

Neoii - The housing is direct swap. You probably have to change the bulb connectors to 9006 if your fog light are not using 9006. They cost a few bucks @ pepboys.

Thanks!

Gary, nice product! How do I know what I have and what kind of connectors I need? Wouldn't it be easier if you offered a complete plug and play kit so that we can install it straight out of the box?

The lights look great and I was ready to pay but changed my mind after reading the posts involving the extra connectors or whatnot thats needed but not included.

it sounds like gary's foglights are 9006.. and our cars leave the factory with 9006... So it is Plug and Play..

I'm thinking about buying these fog lights, but I need a definite answer, are these a straight swap? I don't want to have to get anything else to make them work.

According sylvania.com you guys have 9006 fog lights so they are DIRECT PLUG & PLAY!!!!!
PM me for paypal invoice

I have 9006 6000k and 8000k in stock. They are digital slim ballast which is good stuff. Just add another $65

Gary, I am confused.

Is the $140 for the lense only? That's for use with 9006 Halogen bulbs?

If so, then what is the $65 ballast for? Is the $65 for a HID upgrade????
