So I just lowered my W219 CLS55 within the parameters shown on the first page. Left 2.2, right 2.8 and rear 3.0. My inclination angles were sent to 3.5 degrees on the fronts and -1.1 degrees for the rear. The vehicle successfully calibrated. For some reason my Left rear is about 1/2 lower than the right rear. The carport that I did this in wasn't exactly level. Can anyone explain why the rear would show different heights when there's only one level control. If I could adjust the rear airbags individually my problem would be solved. Any advice would be greatly appreciated I have spent three days trying to fix this problem

These cars are very rigid. If the front is dead level, either the floor is twisted or the car is. Mine came out the same way, so I dropped the right front corner just a touch to partially split the difference.

I am having issues in the D2B fiber optic bus.
Installed a CD changer which wakes up ok. Command head does not see it though.
Star has recommended Harmonize D2B configuration.
Anyone completed D2B retrofits?

Best, Gator

My issue repaired:

Did a graphic D2B display of components STAR c/4 and the return line from the CD changer to Navigation head showed open.
Went to the bone yard today and found a doner fiber cable $4.00. problem solved.
the CD changer loaded with CD was $12.00, Siren $4.00 and an extra central locking pump $6.00.
Kenny G is blazing again.

Papito, I was looking at keygen program as well. There is a way to clone the contents of the fob but I am not familiar with it.
Some key gen software generates license on a proprietary PC for opening up locked software. Which are you after?

Go to:

Carry out control unit reset

I personally did not have to do the second step but I did do some other stuff that may have caused it to reset anyway.

I have just done this, thanks for the instructions.
The remaining volume of fuel is now showing on the instrument cluster

However, my odometer is now blinking "--------" and the total milage is lost.

Does anyone know how to fix this??

THANKS!

That happens when you don't follow instructions or do other things. Your cluster is still in programming mode (buzzer still deactivated).

Code it properly and your mileage will come back.

Developer Kit Access is no sand box to toy around.

Fixed it, thanks Mackhack.
Would you mind elaborating as to exactly what the 'buzzer' is?

thanks again

The electronic part on the second circuit board inside your cluster that beeps and makes the relay sound when you turn on the turn signal. Buzzer gets deactivated when the cluster is put into programming mode, activated when put back into working mode.

Hi Guys,

New question that I have not seen answered in a step by step after researching for quite awhile. Hopefully someone can help.

I have an o4 e55 purchased used in '15 and star c3/d630/ v2012 with coding which works very well.

I am looking to change my current keyless go key that is on track three into the key that is used and recognized by the system which it currently is not.

Two parts to the question: 1, Does the key need to be reassigned to track 2? Ive heard that KG possibly only operates on tracks one and two? Track one is disabled due to me only owning the one key on track three and track one was the last used by someone else. If the track three key needs to be moved to track two, how is that accomplished in a step by step? Ive been trough the system so feel free to abbreviate.

2, If the key does not need to be moved to track two, how do I code the module to accept the key as track three? i.e. the KG module searches for and accepts track .

Ive read tons of conflicting info on the type and supply of keys and availability and compatibility but the best info led me to the questions above. It seems as though because the key I have is authorized for the "drive" systems that I can enable the car to use it for KG.

Again, no other keys in use or owned and all tracks are enabled except track one. All systems test perfect and no fault codes.

Thanks for any and all info provided and feel free to pm or post here.

To my knowledge Keyless go keys have to be paired to the cars EIS system with proprietary hardware/software pairing by the dealer or specific aftermarket hardware/software to accomplish the same pairing task.

You cannot simply add a key with STAR sadly

Prices I have heard were around $550 from the dealer to do this

Non Keyless go keys can just be ordered via VIN and do not require extra coding

You can take the board out of the working key and move it to another case that is cleaner... sadly I have not found another way to add a key to the car outside of the dealer

agree but..

The key is already paired and enabled for the car. If I am ordering a new key, yes it has to come from Merc pre programmed but that is not the case here. It is just not recognized by Keyless go. As far as Ive read, I do not need to use a "workshop" key, only code KG or change the track per above. It was stated that this has been done directly through star at home without the dealer. The c3 with coding from 2012 should allow this, later versions may not. It may also be true that only Merc can change a key to track one or two and in this case I would need to know if the KG module can be coded to recognize track three KG key...because thats whats been repeated in other forums. I can imagine if both tracks one and two were disabled due to lost keys, that the other tracks can be used for KG. Yes, there might be a limit of KG access keys to two per car at a time.

Any thoughts? My Star is very easy to work with but I like to verify processes with multiple sources before continuing.

Thanks!!

I have two questions for the Star experts here.

1. Where and how can you change wheel or tire size and is it possible to change ESP so that larger rears could be accommodated?

2. There was a list earlier in the thread that showed there was the ability to change the car location to a "Hot" country to improve AC operation. How does one do that and are there any down falls to that change?

Thanks,
Sean
