I have headlight constant option enabled and my lights always running day/night. Is it possible to program low beams to work at 50% during day (or high beams), and 100% at night ? If not, then is it possible to turn on fog lights at day and low beams at nights, automatically?

Hi all. I wanted to swap my 2004 Avantgarde cluster for an Elegenace cluster, because of the looks. While at it why not swap for a younger cluster where I could enable AMG menu? I did so by virginizing the new cluster eeprom and added AMG option. But: I can´t use the normal teach in procedure in DAS as I was used to with other clusters. Because it is a 2007 cluster It won´t let me do initial startup adaption, but just offered SCN Online. Well ... I was pointed to other sources on how to enable SCN Offline, but that didn´t help me much as my understanding of it is not good enough.
The cluster is working fine, even pulled the correct millage, except it thinks I have a Distronic option installed so it throws an error after start up and won´t show the cruise conrtol segments. And it won´t show the clock settings menu, no matter what variants I set.
Even in "diagnosis according to factory" there is not way to set the base info in the cluster ... engine, model year, whatever. With older clusters it was possible.
You didn’t virginize it right and you didn’t do the correct teach in process. That’s why you have these issues.
You may be right, but I wouldn´t know where to look for in the EEprom besides FF´ing up to 0x030. It´s a 24C32 eeprom. I did it last week with a 24c16 eeprom cluster and it worked just fine. Initial startup teach in process worked. But with this new cluster I don´t get any of those options in DAS.
This is fundamentally wrong. This is not how you do it. I might be able to fix it remotely on the weekend to make it usable. Feel free to send me a pm for details.

Interesting. However, my car already has paddle shifters, manual mode, and I KNOW I can activate the other two via xentry. C'mon man.
can somebody help with getting the right program and laptop to diagnose my car. Is this the right Xentry and laptop for a w211 E55 2003. I have no communication with the car except for getting codes from it. P0600. I don’t know what to get.
Hey there all! You all sound like a very well informed bunch of of guys and I see you all have already been into the Star Diagnostic systems game for a while now. I just wondering if ANYONE ON THIS PAGE may be able to steer me into the right direction on who I should buy my first Star type Diagnostic system from ( which would be the best brand) Or if there's any certain type of bundle I should buy, that comes with the laptop all the different OBD2 port plugs and other diagnostic Type plugs that I may need for a w211 E55 AMG Mercedes. Or maybe even, what all I will need JUST to get started at least. I know there are 1000's of different systems out there to buy just hoped you might be able to help a fellow E55 enthusiasts out.? Thanx a BUNCH. for any tips or info. It's all greatly appreciated
