I just saw that in a magazine -- its like +$80k !!! I recall years back there was something similar with a fast motorcycle engine: it was far cheaper and lighter --- and if you want to take it a step further. I rather get a real bike -- even cheaper and lighter -- also, faster and more fun.

a Rivera...via a Custom 24, Strat and Les Paul
Yeah Suzuki did it a couple of years back with a Busa engine. Both applications look like serious fun. I can help of think of the first time I got to run a go cart as a kid and figuring out on the first lap that if your not afraid to pull g's, sliding out the back end is a perfectly acceptable form of shedding speed in the corners.
The thing that blew me away in the same mag was the SUV comparo - The X5 M ran a 0-60 in 4.0 flat. WTF????? That's some seriously scary S$#T!!!!!

Word! that X5 M is very impressive imagine what an ECU tune will yield? (I read it's Launch control feature & lightning fast shifts are @ the root of those low 0-60mph #'s)

The mid mounted engine is VW/Audi's familiar 2.0 liter Turbocharged 4 cylinder, used in such cars as the GTI & the Audi TT
Engine type> turbocharged & intercooled
DOHC 16-valve inline-4, iron block & aluminum head, direct fuel injection
Displacement > 121 cu in, 1984cc
HP 237 @ 5500 rpm
Torque 229lb-ft @ 2000 rpm
Torque that low in rpm band = Turb's

Ahh my bad The articles description makes it sound like twins (I'm not familiar w/Audi powerplants & when they stated same engine used in Audi TT & describe the X-Bow having "Intercoolers" plural friggin C&D I figured twins)

well - i would take one for free -- but would not spend anything near the price tag for one ---
