Yep,

I was on the road today and some punk in a Ford Probe GT decides to play a little cat and mouse. I floor it and fly by him... He decides he is going to try to fly by me and I pull in his lane and cut him off... This goes on for about 10 minutes... I am trying to create a place where we can at least get side by side. Finally, when we have a chance to get side by side, he floors it.... And he beats me!!!!
































































































In loudness of his rice burner exhaust!!!!

after 10mins of playing around i am pretty sure your IATs must have been very high. Then finally when you got a chance to punch it the IATs spiked up and you must have experienced S/C shut down.

I'm not proud to admit it but I would have done the exact same thing - provided that other people weren't being put in jeopardy - and I would have smiled when it was done.

A C300 saw me coming up on him today and immediately altered his driving style. If there was less traffic I would have given chase even though I knew the result was a foregone conclusion...

have you changed your pump lately? It would take a 116+ trapping probe to walk a stock E55. anything under and it should be a good fight.

Unless your pump is failing or you maxed out your IAT's showing your power.. I can't see a probe pulling that hard..

I try never to put anyone in danger when I am driving. I may cut you off, but I know how to adjust my mirrors and I know exactly where the front and rear bumpers end, and I am constantly aware of my surroundings (I even keep a mental note of how many cars are behind me on the highway and how quickly cars are gaining on me [when I am just cruising] just so I know what lane I can move into should I have to avoid anything in front of me).

It's amazing how many people change their driving styles when they realize what you are driving!!! It's like everyone comes out of the woodwork to try to challenge you... Sometimes I give chase and sometimes I don't. In this case, he was just trying way too hard to impress his passenger... I guess the funniest thing about it to me was how high he was letting his engine rev to produce that (not so) amazing rice burner muffler sound!!! I don't understand why anyone would want their vehicle to sound like a lawn mower

Actually, I said "cut him off..." And you have never cut anyone off? It's not like he was even anywhere close to me when I pulled into his lane. I knew he was coming before I heard his exhaust peaking out before I even saw him gaining on me... I thought he was done and over with, so when I saw what he was trying to do, I pulled into his lane...

Sorry you think it's lame... Maybe it's your sense of humor that is...

Absolutely agree! And I enjoy it every day... But sometimes I wonder why some of these people try... And the ones that do, deserve to be put down!!! I think most of them only realize it is a MB and have no idea what the AMG even means... They just want to brag to their friends that they raced an "expensive" car and won... So they try something, only to finally end up being the ones that are shown...

I honestly think most people will try to see how their car compares with the all mighty AMG. I personally don't see it being a big deal trying as I'm always wanting to race something faster and quicker, just hard to find. IMO, we are the ones that look silly when racing the slower cars.
