At this point this setup is not bolt-on and I will be cutting and welding to an OEM mercedes SC unit. We will either use an 80mm inlet or maybe even the spare stock one - since it has to be cut anyway.

I read that going too big can cause undesireable driveability issues, and weird throttle response. I am not saying that 105 is too big, I guess we'll find out. I can always upgrade

190 hasn't really been done and documented. One of the reasons people stayed away from it is that with higher boost, the air just gets too hot and the intercooler is not efficient enough to cool it. I saw some IAT logs of water methanol on an E55 that have me convinced that 190+W/M will make a lot of power over my current setup. We are talking IATs of under 85 degrees.
180 just would not be a worthwhile step from my 175

I just found out we can't do it this Saturday, so its getting pushed back more. Kinda upset, but it gives me more time to decide on whether I want to do spray.
