okay,so i'm getting this '04 e55k tomorrow and i'm excited as hell,and i am already considering modding it since this is one BIG reason why i got me a 55 instead of maybe a 63.I currently drive an '06 M5 and wanna make the 55 go faster.

the thing is, i live in Qatar,and was considering a pulley/tune (with an upgraded H/E) mod first.but since there is no one to tune the car in the Gulf.i was wondering what my fellow Gulf owners do to get their tuning fixes?can i just install a pulley without a tune ? i don't wanna spend a lot that's why i found the pulley/tune to be the most bang for buck.

you have Hani in Qatar from fluid motorunion/Powerchip. he can get u all what u need and also some parts. call him before the guys reach to him from US so that they get u what u need.

ne more question.Does your car run hot after a few runs with all the mods you have? and what is the best pulley size for our weather? as i was considering a 180mm but afraid of the heat soak.

I was away from the forum and msn for a while coz my laptop was on format and maintenance.

I contacted Eurocharged for the TBs + IC Pump, they can ship it but it is expensive , to get it by the 2nd of Feb ..

Do you know anyone can sell the TB + IC around in UAE? or Powerchip can do so when they come?

it is a bit costy by plane. but it is a one time. so, go for it. even for a $100 - 200 more.

as they say. time is money, and it isn't cheap.

if you dont have cooling mods on your car. don't go above 172.

mike@fluidmotorunion.com is coming to the UAE within 10 days, never dealt with him before but he looks legit. I'm planning on driving my car there for a tune. He also has performance parts built in-house.

On a side note, it would be great if we can pull together to get good GP prices ....
