indy shops in nw pa/ cleveland oh?
just wanted to know if any one had recommendations for good independent shops in the erie pa/ cleveland ohio area? have taken it to the local dealer ship for a couple of small thing but would rather not pay $100 hr for service. thanks for any advice.

Hey buddy, I am gonna PM you a guy from Cleveland MB, He is a master tech/AMG tech that will work on your car outside the dealer. He is cheap, does great work and is a very AMG savy guy. He come down to Cbus and does a group of guys cars at a time.

I know a couple I've recommended in the greater Philadelphia area, but that doesn't help you much unfortunately.
Shoot MRAMG1 a PM, I believe he's out near Pittsburgh, and can probably point you in the right direction for good shops in western PA.

If i remember correctly, he left MB in 2004-2005, I wouldn't take my 55 to him to have open heart surgery, but I do give him a lot of work on non-warranty items. I know of someone else who is "current" on his technical knowledge for major services/mods. Then again, the OP wasn't asking for a certified MB master tech, just someone competent to perform "small things".
