Yes and no. I can't think of a time I have ever had just one wheel spin, unless one wheel was on a vastly different surface than the other(ice and concrete). It works very well and you will never notice it, it just works. There are always two black marks on the pavement, whether in a straight line or through a corner.

LSD could be had as an option or upgrade in other parts of the world but not in the US market (although there is a claim above that it was available on an '06 but I do not know for sure).
The ABD (Active Brake Differential) is a torque management system that applies the brake to the spinning wheel in an effort to simulate an LSD electronically. Porsche and others have used this but I have never been a fan of it and the systems are all junk on a true performance car. There are some burnout videos on youtube where you can actual see the ABD in action as the rear brake discs glow and in some cases even spit sparks from tiny fragments of pad material being shed.
