Supercharger Pulley Bearing...

Has anyone found someone that can actually supply just the bearing that gets pressed into the supercharger pulley? I've been searching the internet for the past day, as I rather replace the 60 dollar bearing than buy the whole assembly for 700 some odd dollars from an OEM supplier... Just looking for someone to supply me/point me in the right direction with Nachi bearing part number "45BG07S5G-2DL" since it is the OEM bearing in our supercharger pulley. Thanks in advance!

I purchased from from a private party and believe he has more but he is not interested in selling anymore the last I spoke with him. I will touch base with him again, but I paid $70.00 for the bearing and will post a DIY one of these days. No PMs please on his contact information, hate to push our relationship further after I talked him into selling me one. He uses them in air conditioning compressors if that helps.

Thanks, yeah let me know. As i've been searching this seems to be a "touchy" area. It's a no brainer to go this route - but it's a matter of finding the route in the first place to start! Do let me know. I'll give you a finders fee if you make it happen!!

Are you sure you didn't get part number "45BG07S5G-2DST" instead of part number "45BG07S5G-2DL". They seem the same but maybe the ac compressor bearing which matches ours can't handle the higher rpm output of the SC?

Update, I have found someone who can supply me with bearings - they aren't as cheap as mentioned in other threads... but it's a lot cheaper than the other alternative of spending 750-1000 dollars to replace the whole clutch/pulley.

A supplier of mine can get these bearings no problem. I will pass them on for what im paying plus shipping.

So $65 total.

FYI, You have to know that on OEM plastic and or magnesium cast idler double pulleys that re-pressing a new bearing in most likely will not last. Bearings are pressed in at a interference press fit and one they go in the first time and out, you loose that required ID to get a proper press fit in the second time. the Steel oem supercharger bearings work beeter to press in a second time, as they are hard steel . That is why we designed the idlers for are own personal cars back in 2008, as the OEM ones were failing all the time.
