Evosport | New Lightweight 2-Piece Front & Rear Rotors for W211 E63 AMG

UP TO 40-LBS WEIGHT SAVINGS!

Designed as a direct brake rotor replacement for the OE 1-piece or 2-piece brake rotors (front and rear). No modifications are necessary. The Evosport rotors will bolt directly to the car and work with OE AMG brake calipers. Not only will the upgraded multi-piece "floating" rotor design help mitigate brake fade, but are lighter than stock and reduce unsprung weight by up to 40-lbs. on all four corners! Note: 26-lbs weight savings on vehicles equipped with 2-piece OE front rotors. This means better acceleration, braking and cornering. In addition, you get to maintain the AMG calipers without going to a more expensive solution that requires replacing them.

Drilled and slotted to match the OE rotors, hats are lightweight aluminum and hard anodized. And unlike the stock rotors that only vent correct on one side (or have universal venting), the Evosport rotors have a Right and Left application for proper venting of the disc and chaneling of airflow.

Benefits:
  • Direct bolt-on design requires no modification
  • Works with OE AMG calipers
  • Lightweight design (up to 40-lbs unsprung weight savings over stock! 26-lbs weight savings on vehicles equipped with 2-piece OE front rotors.)
  • Aluminum hat, hard anodized (Black)
  • Better value and cost of ownership over OE! The OE 2-piece 360mm rotor sells for $990 EACH!
  • Unique Left/Right application for proper venting/airflow (unlike OE)
  • Replaceable discs and hardware
  • Better heat dissipation and less brake fade
  • Improved acceleration, braking and cornering with less unsprung weight!

Includes Front and Rear rotors with black anodized hats (Front or Rear pairs can also be purchased separately). For more information or to order, CLICK HERE.

Please feel free to call or email us with any questions.

Anthracite anodized hats shown below. Actual rotors have black anodize:

Wow, these look very good

Simon, did the E63 brakes ever come in two versions? 1 piece vs 2 piece? I have the performance package E63, but to my knowledge there were no changes in brakes compared to the regular E63... What are the diameter of these and the 1 piece OE ones?

W211 and W212 E63 came with 2-piece front 360mm rotors. The W212 has optional composite ceramic option (not for USA).

Unfortunately, Mercedes doesn't reuse the hats, I don't know if Evosport will mount a new rotor on a Mercedes hat. I think that the bolt pattern is totally different. I believe that the hats maybe larger in diameter then Mercedes. But I do know that Evosport will remount a new rotor on their hats for you. I'm looking at getting a complete set for my E63 very soon, even though I don't need brakes or rotors yet. Knowing that the rotor surface can be replaced is a big deal for me. Mercedes just throws the whole dam thing away. Since Brembo makes the calipers, I think that they make the rotors as well. It might take some looking into, to see if Brembo will mount a new rotor disc for you, if you decide to keep the hats. I know that would be allot cheaper then buying new rotors. I like the Evopsort ones, due to there lightness as compared to OEM.

You cannot re-use your OE hats. The entire OE rotor is a toss away once it's done, and you have to buy them in pairs from the dealer, so it gets $$.

With our setup, you can re-use our hats when you need to replace the disc.

So rule of thumb is for every 10 pounds u drop of rotating mass is like dropping 100 pounds and or like gaining a tenth ?

This is my next mod along with the Quaife , Screw the 930 lol

The AMG hats are heavy as well. I will be honest the AMG 63 2 piece fronts are very robust and do better than the E55k fronts at heat dissipation. BUT, they save NOTHING (actually 5lbs) in terms of inertia and that is where the EVOs actually generate less heat and thus need less cooling (sort of)

Conservatively, 4:1. But it's more to do with amount of energy required to spin rotating mass.

It comes COMPLETE. You can buy just the discs later when you need to replace them instead of having to buy the entire rotor again. As a side, when we say "rotor", we mean entire assembly made of hat, disc and hardware.

Great Value... My fronts look 10 times worse than the rears (I picked it up with 16K miles) maybe the fellow who had it was as aggressive on the brakes as he was the throttle... Simon, any split pricing for fronts only/rears only? You sell/recommend any specifc pads designed specially for the rotors? Also, do they have any special treatment? Cryo, etc?

Thank you!
Tom

Split pricing is also in the link above, but $1,299 for front pair and $990 for rear pair. Rotors are zinc plated.

For pads we recommend OE, Pagid or Akebono for street application.

Simon, I've used Pagids on my C55 (1427 is the size designation for the fronts), but do not know the size number for the front pads tol fit my 2007 E63 (front). Do you have that info? Glad to hear you have directional vented rotors. Will probably replace mine with your product when the time comes. How much do you charge for the rotors without the hats?

Is that in any order so Akebono works as well as OEM? Thanks,
