I just got my car about two months ago and have no issues whatsoever with the links or the first owner which had them on for about two years. From what I know they just replace the oem but are an inch or two longer so they let the car go down lower. That being said the rest of the car does not have to be changed and you can drop or raise your car using the stock button in the shift console.

Links are supposed to take you down to slammed levels, and I has read some people say ride is a little rough. I did my own STAR, measuring from my original height 27-27.5" overall, I went down to 26.25" front and 26.5" rear. a little lower in Sport II mood. Ride is great all around and the Star cost me about the same as links installed, plus I did other mods and ability to diagnos at home. Looking at the range in the STAR, it seems the settings are only at 1/2 of what range can do, but I really didn't want slammed look and I didn't have time to play around with it.

Ive got links and they have been great. The fronts are ez-mode to put in and adjust, the rear is much more tricky to get right. I got mine from John who is/was a sponser. Excellent service.

Took me an hour to install and get the ride where I wanted it, but I did have a lift so that made it really easy, I found no difference in ride quality at all,

Links are a promising way to lower the car, but the easiest and safest way remains star.
Regarding the washers...... I dont want to start another thread about it , but it cost me (and by me I mean my warranty) almost $3k because of using them. It has not happened to everyone, but just a word of advice.
