Did AMG w211's come with spare tire???
Hey guys,
I have a quick question. Was the spare tire an option for the 2003-2006 E55's? I've owned my car for quite some time and never bothered to look at the spare or lack there of in my car? It looks like a have a portable air compressor instead of a full size spare. I suspect that the orginial owner sold it or forgot to put in back in the trunk before selling the car. Anyone have any insight into this? Thanks in advance.

I am pretty sure it was not an option but rather a change in the middle of the 2004 cars to switch to having a spare. Mine was one of the earliest 2004 vehicles (delivered 12/03) and it did not come with a spare. However, I did do a retrofit to put one in.
