In a 245/40 - 275/35 on stock E55 wheels. Price difference is about $200 (PS2 more). Which would you buy?
Thanks!

Can't comment on Bridges but loved my PS2's. Hooked light years better than stock Contis.
Actually had some ricers come over and actually were looking at the tires.
"Duuuuddeee, are those PS2s!!????"
Never thought there were PS2 fans out there. Guess cause they cost so much, the ricers don't get um much.
My vote is PS2's. I remember not getting much life out of the rears but such is life in the torque monster.
I run Toyo 888's now and can only drive on dry roads for obvious reasons.

my buddy with a R32 that is heavily modified swears by the RE760 Sports for the money and have worn very well even at 12K miles. The PS2's are ballar for sure!!!!!!

Ps-2s is the only tire I will put on my car, the ride is so smooth, no flat spots from sitting along time. I have 19's and the only thing I've noticed is when you get on it hard from a stop you get a little wiggle from the rear, weird.

Just changed over from PS2 to Hankook V12's and the difference is amazing. Smoother and the tires are much stickier and quieter......bought based on Car and Driver shoot-out last year and was validated by my friend who owns a tire store. the price was about 60% of the PS2 cost....had them on for about 2K miles and he has had these on his CLS for 12K miles and no more than 50% wear.

My stock Conti 3's were bit noisy when new but as they aged they got quiter. Looking for tires myself and would probably go with PS2's too.
Tires should be the last to cut the corners on.

You will not be disappointed. I have had both and the PS2's are the better - much better. they are the best tires i have had on my car - even if they do wear out every 12,000 miles!

I love my PS2's. The Bridgestone's have great reviews, but if you look on Tirerack, the Bridgestone's are about 4lbs heavier per tire than the PS2's.
I'd go with the PS2's anyday. The only downside is that they don't last so long.
The PS3's should be out in the US towards the end of the year and I'm looking forward to those.
Really? That's funny, I would have assumed that the ricers would only know brands like Khumo and Hankook.

After going through four sets of PS2's on the rear of my car I just put the Hankook V12's on and love them. The Hankooks are $169 ea. compared to $330 ea. for the PS2's.
That being said, I absolutely love the PS2's but just can't deal with the price anymore. I'm not that agressive a driver and never track my car. So far, I can't tell any difference between the Hankook's and the Michelin's in my routine driving. Very quiet and smooth.

Michelin has got the marketing hands down. Are they that much better? Depends on who's talking. But for style and prestige an MB with Michelins says alot. BTW there are other great tires out there and for less money.

As I have said 100 times on this board "Friends don't let friends buy Michelin's"
Oh well to each his own.
Tires are prestige-age item now. When did this happen?
For my money, I buy the best tire for that specific vehicle. I NEVER thought for a second to buy a tire for its cost alone.
