Drivability with 82mm TB

I am getting ready to have Eurocharged change out my existing 80 mm TB for the 82 along with a dyno tune for my SL55. I was wondering about drivability issues if any. I would love to hear what those who are running the 82 think of it. The W211 forum seems to have more serious modders than the R230 guys, hence my choice of forums.

You shouldn't see a difference in driveability. Enjoy the extra power! Maybe dyno before and after

Could do. Maybe dyno with current mods and RT shelf tune. Dyno with 82 TB no other changes. And Dyno with 82TB plus Eurocharged custom dyno tune.

Thanks for the info on driveability. My wife drives the SL on occassion. So far even with all the mods, she has not noticed any changes in drivability which is good. I'm not sure she would even notice a flat tire though.

I just installed an 82mm TB. Your wife won't be able to tell a difference unless she plans on going WOT! I have been taking it easy with mine until I get a retune, but it drives basically as before.

E55 AMG
I just did 82mm/airbox, drive is the same, the car is stronger but to be honest I was expecting more, but then I am still running stage 1 software. Need a custom tune badly!
