finally got a e55 been looking for over a year for the right one!
its a 2005 e55 pretty much every option except pano roof... flew to california to buy it then drove it back 2700 miles to chicago. the car needed tires so put some on when i get back(re01r's) and got it lowered through star. cpt in chicago did it they are great! can wait to start modding! here are a few pics

it took you a year to find a black E55 and you live in Chicago -- and you did not even get a Pano -- You need to work on your search abilities... black E55's loaded without Pano are about the easiest E55's to find--- and Chicago is not a difficult place to find great used cars.

West coast and Florida cars tend to be much cleaner than cars you might find in the snow belt, ya there might be more but they are not as show room fresh. I commend you on your search, because at the end of the day you got, what you wanted.
Headlight rings are OK, they give the headlight door a finished look. Most guys don't like them, probably because they are chrome, but if you did a carbon fiber overlay or painted them black the comments would be positive, take a look at AMGFan's rings not one negative comment, his are CF.

yeah thanks guys al at cpt i think charged me 250 to lower it and it drives the same a stock height. yeah i found out how to use everything within the first 20hrs of driving hahaha... the car is already at mercedes by me getting a new voltage regulator put in.

congrats. ,I hope it wont take me a year to find another one. I am alittle less picky , just a well maintained beauty with a few options. mainly E55 . :0
