Brabus K8 E55 05
Question Brabus E55 having 533 whp and 622 wtq with my current mods and still tune coming

So today was the dyno day for my car after installing the following:

1- TB 82mm
2- Thermal spacers for the S/C
3- Jonson IC pump
4- PLM heat exchanger

My previous mods on the car were:

1- Brabus K8 power package (originally came with the car from dealer)
2- Brabus Muffler with 3 tips (originally came with the car from dealer)
3- Brabus Anti lock differential (originally came with the car from dealer)
4- Kleemann headers
5- Fluid Motor Union tune
6- only the primary cat was deleted due to Kleemann headers installation requirment.

I got from dyno that the car has 533 whp and 622 wtq, and I am still waiting for the tune from Fluid Motor Union and see what numbers I can get.

Do you think that these current numbers are good? or not?

Your comments are welcome and so appreciated.

dyno numbers are meaningless without any referrence to a baseline, the type of dyno, or at least some comparables from similar cars on the same dyno. besides, it's not about if we think the current numbers are good...what do YOU think?

A good way to find out is to take it down the 1/4 mile and see what numbers she produces.

Let me start with what I think, I think that the car is more powerfull than before way much more.

Now, what kind of dyno? , simply I don't know .. All i know that it is dyno-comp and it looks like this one :

We don't have 1/4 mile tracks here in Abu Dhab .. Maybe i will try on a free way with a timer although it will not be accurate.

The ONLY thing that matters is if YOU are happy with the current rounds of mods. Numbers are numbers, track or dyno.
Go out and beat up on some Pcars or Italion stallions....lol.

+1 I firmly believe that dyno numbers should be taken as just numbers to compare for before and after. The absolute best way to find out is take down the track as Mo and others will/have suggested.

The Performance Box / VBox will give you 1/4 mile times, 0-60 times, 60-130 times, and all kinds of other performance data. It is generally very accurate and reliable.

mabrook ahmed

as i recall before these last mods, your car had 498rwhp. great power man.

i hope you enjoy it. although the TQ is a bit low i think.

you needa fine tune to get all the hp and TQ that it can give.

enjoy you car and drive safely.

i am going for more mods also.

and i have a surprise for you that will make your hair stand.

easily reaching 800hp with no NoS , etc. but don't know if the drivetrain will handle it.

Thanx a lot guys for your comments.

hah, did you say 800 with no NOS? no Twin Turbo too? if not first and not second then definitly it will need $$$, which is problem these days for me

I am still waiting the tune and then we will see the numbers, but performance on the street now is amazing, I can feel huge different between now and before.

The size of the pulley of brabus, I really don't know but it is definitly something between 168 - 175 .

PLM is Private Label, there is still one thread on page 1 for this one.

yup, no need for any of these, it is not that costy.

i think for about $4k you will reach 570-580rwhp after fine tuning.

60-130 is good test of power - less issues with traction...
