What are my options so I don't have error message...
Ok guys, my front side markers are the original yellow markers, and they were painted black like the car is. When lights are off, they are black black and more black. Can't tell they are yellow underneath. Because of the bulb in there when the lights are on, its a dark slight orange color .. I don't want it to light up at all, but if I remove the bulb it will give me a message that a bulb is out I am assuming.
What can I do for this, so the light won't shine through, or I can remove the bulb and not have any messages or error lights. Reason the oem side marker is in, is because of fitment, and its black when the lights are off, and when you turn on the lights it shines light through the orange lense, and the bulb is orange too I believe.
The bulb I am assuming based on sylvania is:
Front sidemarker

suggestions, anyone else do this?

just take out the bulb and deal with the error code on the display -- its only displayed for a second -- just scan through it ---
or try to paint the inside of the side marker -- just pour some paint inside and swish it around until it coats everywhere.

Just Complete the circuit with a wire. You may need to use a resistor. I can take a picture of my set up if you need me too.
