2004 E55 vs. 2007 Z06
I went out to San Mexico this weekend and met up with a friend. We decided to do a few runs.Temperature was 89degrees! My car is in need of a tune, o2 sensors, and the 82mm TB isn't installed yet. The Z06 has intake and an Axelback Exahust.

E55, Supercharged Z4 (sold)
That looks just like my dads. Damn I was hoping you'd take him! lol Maybe with the tune and TB The Z06 scares me a bit if I haven't driven it in a while. It just wants to go like hell. I think it's awesome that an E55 can stay close. Although I think the experience would be a bit more subdue because it's quieter etc in the benz.

We have logged the IAT's. They are about 5-9 above ambient. Ambient was 89degrees with these runs. The conditions were not as i'd like them to be. first race launched at 60mph, horrible gear/speed for our cars. Second race I didn't launch it fully off the line, 3rd race traffic issues. Considering these cars trap over 125mph, i think it was good. I also ned a new tune, o2 sensors, and the TB.

Much respect to the mighty Z.
Bout the only things I won't even try are Z06s (newer), Supras since they are almost always turbd and Shelby Replicas with big blocks.
We have a shop pumping them out down south of me and the Shelbys (replicas) are everywhere.

What are your symptoms for your failing 02 sensors? Ive been trying to figure mine out and the best I can tell is that there ok based on the voltage, but I'm intrested to see if there's some other way to test it?

Stock z06 with a good driver run 60-130 in 7.8 seconds or so. Very impressed that your car was that close from 60mph because our cars are just not geared for that type of run.
Also, what are your iats at wot or just after a run?

+1 on almost everything everybody else said - good to see that it was that close but Z06's are no joke - can't wait to see the rematch when you get the list installed!

E55 2003, C32 2002,
Hadilow, nice race and you have very good cooling system but your car is still not highly modded, no TB, no intake, no cams, no LT headers and the tires are street tires.
I thought from the dig you had chance but this z06 launched up good, maybe the z06 tires are DR or the driver is good .
most of the z06 from the dig , keep spinning long time in the ground if the tires are not DR.
I raced z06 before and my friend posted the video here before!
we thought before this z06 is stock but we found later z06 is modded with intake and tuning !

The video is long but you can watch the last race with the z06, some are thinking there is a problem with this z06 but it is healthy z06 with street tires!
I raced the same z06 from dig and I destroyed him , up to 140m/h my car is about 3 car length in front .
I think there is still chance for E55 with z06 if it is highly modded and the zo6 is stock or lightly modded

Kinda of what I thought, and in one race he jumped you on the horns. still you did ok but I would get all your mods lined out and try it again. would be even closer, to me you still win. almost as fast ,nicer ride and carry 4 while you almost beat the Z06., now when it comes to handling the Z06 is much harder to beat. looks like fun. I am still running around down here waiting for someone to test me. I know there is modded camaro looking for me somewhere.

I was the Corvette driver.
Good runs Hadi, the E55 is a beast!
Z06 is actually an 08, but everything else is correct.
Here is the video recorded from my car with all the runs we did that day:
