If anyone wants to meet me up there.

There were maybe 20 cars for test and tune last Friday. Mostly junk, but a few Z06s to pick on. Couple quick turbo diesel trucks too! I think it's $20.00 or something like that. You can also bracket race if you're feeling froggy.

RE: 75-80

I miss that track, used to go there on Wednesday and Friday nights with my C4 Vettes back in the 90's when 13's were considered fast for street cars. Glad to see they are open again. I always ran a little better in Lane 2......which was probably all in my head.

Congrats on your new time.....you will likely drive those Z06 pilots nuts unless you encounter Ranger.

What a mix!

11.6x - 11.7x all night. A little slower than normal for me, but 75/80 is a couple hundred feet higher in elevation than MIR, and the DA wasn't that great. Plus, icing down between runs was pointless. There were so many TNT cars, that I was literally idling for 15-25 minutes in the staging lanes.

Two best parts of the night for me were:

1. Guy in a full race-prep Malibu, doing a John Force type burnout, then falling prey to the Kraut. He comes up to me while waiting for the next run and goes "Hey man, do me a favor and try not to line up anywhere near me for the rest of the night. That was embarrassing.

2. A group of 4 guys in various camouflage gear, looking at my car, over top of the open hood. One guy goes, "I just don't get it. It doesn't look like there's anything there but a big air cleaner." The other 3, in harmony, scratch their heads like Einstein trying to solve the theory of relativity. I wish I snapped a pic.

Early in the day, I completely destroyed a modded Viper. He trapped 125, but just couldn't get off the line. It wasn't even close. There was a new Camaro there that had a supercharger(in the picture). He was running low 12's and I do believe he cracked the high 11s once. Super pretty car. Black with black HRE wheels. Just gorgeous. Tom, (TMC_M5) showed up in his brand new Caddy CTS-V, with some mild exhaust work only. He literally came from exhaust shop, right to the track. Even ran with all of the old exhaust in the trunk. 12.30's, I do believe.

Here's a vid of one of my 11.7x runs. It was against an off-the-showroom-floor 2010 E350.

A buddy of mine, who works at my local dealer, showed in his 500SEC. A coworker of his, brought his leased E350. Pretty funny. It actually cracked into the high 14s, believe it or not.

Looks like you guys had fun I was hoping the E350 would be an E63, but then I read your post. Have you seen any of the 2010 E63 on the track yet?

Honestly, it's mostly 'Murikan Iron and rice. And people have no clue about Euro Powah! I've been up there the last two weeks and there's no Euro's. Couple of C6 Vettes, and the Viper that I mentioned. I can't even count how many people came up to me asking me about my car. Not to sound like a total douche, but I felt like a damn rockstar a little bit. Lots of chatter in the stands whenever I ran, according to my buddies. Hell, even the owner of the track sought me out to chat me up for about 15 minutes. Oddly enough, he mentioned that I shouldn't stray too far from my car while in the staging lanes or icing down away from the action. He was worried about keying, or just complete lack of respect towards my car.

Anyway, it'd be nice to get 5-10 local guys to go there on a Friday night and represent the star. I think I'm gonna bracket race this dune buggy the next time I go. I was pretty consistent.
