Armrest burning up!
Granted it was 90 degrees here yesterday but driving around I felt heat coming from under the armrest and def seemed hotter than it should have. Is this normal? Anyone else notice this? Thanks.

Just happened to me on the ride down today- the other thing that happened was that while cold air was blowing out of the AC up front - it was blasting hot air through the rear vents. Once we hit a rest stop and turned the car off and then back on - it resorted to blowing cold air again to the rear. I usually run my iphone charger through the rear 12v so I don't know if that has anything to do with. One last thing - about 40 mins later, the car went into limp mode and then shut down and wouldn't start up - just got to my parents house from having the car towed to the dealership.

both symptom of rear air mixer valve (don't remember exact name) gone bad for the rear vents. it's a common problem and an easy diy to fix. iirc there's a write-up around here somewhere.

If you have the your back AC hot, there is one valve just below the window wiper dynamo that you need to change and everything will be fine. It cost me around 130 to fix this including part and labor. I will post the picture of that valve soon.
