Private Track Rental :: Oregon, Washington and Vancouver, BC AMG Owners!
Who would be interested in renting Woodburn Dragstrip for a weekday? I'm working with Gene (The Track Director) to set up a Private Rental!
Track:

Cost:
$1500 split across a maximum of 10 cars. If we have 10 cars committed (and they all show up) it's only $150/person!
Includes:
One fully-prepped lane, Timing, EMT and as many runs as you can! All NHRA rules apply.
Time:
10am-4pm
Date:
June 22nd, June 24th, June 29th, July 1st, July 6th or July 8th.
***Final date will be determined by the availability of members. A backup date will be chosen in case of rainout.***
Commiting:
If you are in, PM me or post at least three dates from above that you can commit to. No tire kickers. You are in or you are not. If you say you are in and you don't show up, you are going to cost each other member more $ out of pocket. Don't be that guy!

is there any way to increase the maximum number of cars and to also have both lanes?

They can't go above 10-cars. That's the cap.
Yes on the two lanes, we just incur the extra costs of the track prep materials.
I'll ask about specific rules and get back to you.

Got the info from Gene:
- Prepping a second lane with VHT would cost the group an incremental $350 ($35/person).
- All NHRA rules apply so 11.49 or quicker is going to require a roll bar.

Yeah, that's too bad about the track reinforcing the 11.499 rule. Mikesamg and myself were talking about how fun it would be to run with a new group of people. If things change and pockets could be greased let me know.

They aren't going to budge on the rules. They are the only track in OR/WA that are willing to host a private rental so we're pretty much at the mercy of the NHRA.
You should check out some of the bolt-in roll bar solutions. You can remove/install them in about 15-minutes. Member Dads C63 just had one installed - https://mbworld.org/forums/4003992-post1.html
