I install new D2S xenon bulbs on my e55 now the headlights won't turn on.. Help
Hey everyone I just got my 6000k D2S bulbs from ijdmtoy I install them and they wont turn on I get a warning message in the dash with a light bulb picture saying left low beam right low beam. Installation was a little tricky but I manage to install the bulbs and they don't turn on. The car was off. So I install back the originals and the headlights still still won't turn on. Plus I get the same message.. Whats wrong? what did I do wrong? Any help please really desperate. I also see a green wire inside the headlight housing but I don't see where it connects too. Any help please... Thank you all..

There is a small wire harness that automatically disconnects when you twist the square plastic piece to get to the bulb.
Connect the harness and your lights will work.
Same thing happened to me I freaked out!

His mama. Traded y0 mama in because she was squeaking.
Do the lights have capacitors in the wiring harness?
If your original lights still don't come on, then you either fried something (unlikely), popped a fuese, or you just confuggered the headlight module.
When I installed my HID fog lamps, the driver's lamp wouldn't come on with the passenger one.
I shut the lights off and after about an hour I tried it again. The light came on with the other one.
Since then, I've had both the passenger and driver lights not turn on (alternately) on two occasions.
The light module only knows the light resistance it's programmed with, and as such it may, now and then, have a brain fart.

Thank you all I will try later on today to connect the green wire. I did not know it connects to something. How can I check if I burn a fuse?
