So I have two 03 e55's to choose from but can't seem to make a choice. Would like some input from the experts on here.
So one is silver with 65,000 kms (live in canada) with pano roof and parking sensors and it is currently at the local MB dealer to replace air supspension on one side.
The other is black with 100,000kms and no pano or park assist but has been lowered and has black out grill...Both are local cars no accidents and 2nd owners, now I really like black cars but it seems like the silver one is in all a better car? Both are also same price maybe save $500 on black one. So am I just a black car junkie? or are these cars even comparable to each other for the same price?

 

I would still look around for a black one with lower millage but if it is between the 2 you are looking at than I would def go with the SILVER one

Are you in Vancouver? If your talking about the silver one from st with 84k that car isn't in good shape, i'd stay away from it. The black one is in Richmond and I actually know the seller very well. i've driven both the silver one and the black one lowered with black grill, i'd take the black one hands down. The silver one has been sitting at that dealer for well over a year for a reason

 

If this is true I would still look around for lower milage one with more options. It is up to you however. Thnks to SSONSS for the heads up

E55's are hard to find in Canada, unless op brings one in from the states.

These are the only two that are asking a reasonable price, others are all overpriced and its not so easy to find e55s here in vancouver.Also need to get into a new car asap, sold the old one.

 

i would definetely buy one in the united states and fly and then drive it back to vancouver.

100K KM is about 60K miles for 2003 I would say is low miles.
I would go with the Black one with already lower and black grilled.
Pano is nice but when it breaks it will break your bank ! I have Pano roof but never open it because afraid of breaking it. If you want to wait, buy in USA 2004 +

 

btw stay away from the black 04 in the trader private sale, I was about to wire money to the guy,(i'm in Toronto) and he backed out last second...total a$$hole..BC cars are very overpriced IMO...but its true, clean e55s are hard to find in Canada...i'm searching daily.....debating importing now.....
