Jesus this guy is STILL at it? He used to live near me in chicago on Harlem just north of Diversey in the white house just to the south of the house with the "readings by maria" sign in the front lawn. Right across from teh Walgreens parking lot. Address is like ~2844 N Harlem in chicago. This was about 10 years ago now though. Hopefully this can somehow help anyone that has been scammed and needs to track this guy down again.
He scammed plenty of people around chicago and I've had to deal with it on another forum I'm a moderator on. This guy just keeps it up forever it seems.

If you want someone to drive by and check out where this Sergio resides, just PM me all of the info. you have on this crook.
I have some people in Chicago that will drive by and let me know the deal.
Depending on the dollar amount you have lost with this guy, criminal charges can be filed as this is certainly theft by taking.
Forget PayPal, they are of no help in protecting you as the buyer regardless of how safe they advertise their services.
Just let me know if you want me to have this checked out and I will see what I can do to help.

No matter how small or how big the $$ amount its just down right shameful. I had a similar incident here with a member (BLKGHST) but he was reputable and still exists here. Paypal is a TOTAL joke, I sent back item to seller to the listed address on the box. Unfortunately, the seller has more then 1 shipping address (NJ and NY) and sent the item from the non-verified address (GO FIGURE). Paypal at first favors me and says I am due a refund, but then reverses there favoring to the seller because I didn't send the product back to the verified address with pay-pal. So, now Im OUT my $140 and fog lights I purchased. TOTAL BS!!!
The Mother effer even signed for the package with proof from the USPS and pay-pal still cant refund my money! OH WELL as they say....

Ohh man this brings me back!I remember after sending payment another guy saying he just sent payment also a few days later in the for sale thread and then in another thread with another buyer saying he sent payment also and the whole time thinking I got screwed.
A few days later my headers came in and are still on the car now.
I got lucky but his guy needs an *** beating

Thanks for the offer man, but I was actually lucky enough to get my funds back from CC company / PayPal. It did take some time though. It pisses me off even more to see this guy does this on other boards. I don't want anyone else getting ripped off by him.

I have always had my credit card company AmEx reverse the charges.
IMO ebay and paypal are (don't want to be sued so insert your own derogatory description)

These guys come and go, and you gotta be very careful. I saw another one on here where the guy sold some E63 wheels to 4 or 5 people.
After by 2nd PayPal fiasco, I closed my account. I have been much happier since that day..

He's still around , up to the same old tricks only on a larger scale! I don't know how this guy keeps gettin away with it! I know it's old news but a buddy of mine just bought a 67 Firebird from him on eBay suppose to be from his own collection, matching numbers blah blah blah, ends up a piece of ****. If anyone is still interested in contacting him, watch out for this guy

Every so often a bunch of Chicago members get together for a meet. I drive down and join them on occasion. When setting up the meet, we always struggle to come up with a good meeting location. I am going to suggest 3636 N Harlem next time.
